Light weight and perfect
I’m so glad that I don’t need to travel far anymore for hobby craft. the store in Farnborough is amazing and the staff are great. I Visited hobby craft to purchase this cake box and I was very pleased with it the box is light weight and perfect sizing also easy to assemble. Definitely recommend!

Perfectly good but expensive
Not much to say, it’s a perfectly acceptable cake box. But it’s really expensive compared to buying them online from cake suppliers who charge a lot less.
It’s fine if you only want a single box every now and again, but as someone who uses a lot of cake boxes, I would only buy in an emergency.

Not just for cakes!
Although this is intended for cake decorators which I also used it for initially - I also used mine when I was guilding a clock! It kept everything safely clean and dry whilst the seal was air drying. The odd bits of stray guilder's flakes are confined to the box too. Most useful

Convenient
I had to get a cake box while away from home to bake an emergency gift cake - this was a convenient, but not cheap alternative to my local cake supply store, but for a one off, there is a good choice and saved me trying to google "cake supplies" while on holiday!

Perfect
This box was the perfect size for a 8inch cake and a 10 in cake board, I did 3 layers of sponge and fit perfectly. I wasn’t able to put the figurines on top of the cake in the box as was abit to short but nothing that a cake box extender wouldn’t be able to fix

10" Cake Box
I like the fact that the cake box came in a cellophane wrap to keep it clean. I had been in store the previous week to buy some other items and I saw that Hobby Craft sell cake craft items including Icing which I bought too. I will definitely be returning soon.

Good standard cake board
This is a good standard cake board, very simple to put together and for a great price. How ever it would be great if it came in taller sizes also, rather than just wider. As I struggle to find taller boxes to fit my cakes in at a reasonable price.

Great product
Great box, made transporting the cake so easy and fit the board exactly, so it couldn't move and mess up the cake. Most of all, it is high enough to fit the decorations I put on the cake, had this issue before with boxes that were not.

You always need the basics
I needed a box to transport my cake to the party. Only a fresh, new, clean box is suitable for a cake that's a gift! It's great to have a store nearby to pick one up on the way home and these basics are always in stock. No messing!

One dimensional
I always have to use cardboard strips to make these boxes taller to store and deliver a finished cake. Why dont you source and sell tall boy boxes and look and other packaging options available rather than just a boring white box.

This product was an essential and useful item
Just before we went into lockdown we purchased this box to take my daughter’s birthday cake to the restaurant she was having her little party at.

Great item to carry your sweet creations
Good, sturdy box and easy to assemble. Having a proper cake box makes all the difference when delivering a home made creation (in a make-shift cake tin/box) transforming it to one that looks much more professional.

Not strong enough
It’s not a strong enough box to hold a cake which is smaller in diameter than the box. You have to feel the underside of the box for where the cake base is and hold it there otherwise the card will probably rip

Very sturdy
As a cake baker, I find the cake boxes to be of reasonable price no matter what size i buy, they are also sturdy so I feel confident that when I put my cakes in them, I am reassured they won't come undone.

Just what you need
The cake box is easy to assemble and then strong enough to be protective. I like the fact that you can slide the cake in rather than needing to assemble the box and then try to get the cake into it.

Cake decorating project
Hobbycraft is the only place that I can get my cake decorating equipment so it saves my bacon many a time. The prices are very competitive and I can get all my crafting stuff under one roof.

Rather expensive but good size
I found the price was too high for this plain and window less box, but on the positive side it is quite tall and although I put a 3 tier cake in it I think 4 tiers wood have fit too.

Good substantial boxes.
As I make cakes for family and friends it is great to be able to get substantial boxes to put them in for delivery. it also makes it easier for further transportation to party venue.

Bit flimsy
I was expecting the card to be stronger and more rigid than it is but once the lid is on it does hold pretty well as long as you are careful carrying your cake inside it.

Cake transportation
Bought 2 boxes in different sizes. Quite fragile and short. Needed in a hurry otherwise would look for more stability. Sealed so unable to feel quality of card used.

Sturdy boxes for cakes.
These boxes are sturdy and practical. Come in various sizes. But be careful the baker will normally tell you meteoric and the boxes are in imperial measurements.
