Ok for a beginner
Purchased these for my daughter who is studying Art A Level. I thought that they would add to her growing collection of art materials. Whilst the price is certainly fantastic, the pastels themselves weren't great. Fine for a beginner or for rough work, but save for something higher quality for anything else. She didn't find them very easy to use or blend sadly.

Perfect for what I wanted
It’s been a while since I have done any pastel drawings so I just wanted a cheaper pack so I could have ago and see if it was something I was going to pick back up.
I found them as good as any others I’ve ever used with a nice variety of colours, I would buy them again.

Great value product for beginners
These pastels are a great value and have a decent range of colours although I do wish it had a pink, but for someone who has not used pastels before these are great for practice and getting used to how pastels can be used.

Budget priced soft pastels very good for price did the task asked of them
Bought to be used by a group of 7-10 year olds as an introduction to making night pictures using this medium, They were used with good results by the children who enjoyed the finger blending and getting messy.

My purchases of various art paper was all of good quality and fairly priced, the chalk pastels were from a reputable maker and are all I expected. The extent of art materials is good which Is why I come here

Not a lover
Not a lover of using pastels I needed a set for my art class these did the job. If you haven’t used pastels before they will suffice at £3.00. If you enjoy using them I would purchase better quality ones

Good basic selection
The pastels drew well. Colours were good. Towards the end of my session, however they broke in two when used with former force. All in all though reasonable value for money.

Good starter for pastels
These are good as a starter for pastels especially for a good price. Once more advanced at pastels, would probably be better to pay the extra and get higher quality ones.

This product is great for kids.

The pastels are pigmented and are great to blend together. They are not the softest in the world, but considering their price they are brilliant.
