Embroidery hope it’s a fantastic basis for creating a crafty make that I have done and I recommend it to everybody, I have been grafting for many years saw this idea on a craft show and I have made several makes myself and I can rely on Hobbycraft justified but I need why don’t you give it a go and see how you get on decorating embroidery hoop

8 inch bamboo hoop.
The hoop is good however I don’t like the screw you have to tighten up though , previously you had to use a screwdriver which I could mange, now I have to try and use a pair of pliers which I can’t use as I cannot tighten it up properly. My other half has to tighten it I have arthritis in my fingers which prevent me from this.

Not quite excellent
This embroidery hoop is ok but could be better. The wood it is made of is a little splintery so care is needed. Once it is wrapped it is ok. The amount of screw thread is barely enough once the hoop is wrapped with bias binding and there is no screw slot in the tightening screw head making it difficult to get really tight.

Use these to frame my embroidery
I don't tend to use these while I'm embroidering cause I have to stop to tighten the fabric again and again. However as frames, these are fab! Great to paint over to give it a unique look and looks great once hung up without all the faffing of getting it inside a frame.

Perfect
Slightly bigger than the one I already had, which suits my new project better! Been using it for a week so far and no signs of slipping yet. I didn't realise how much my old one must have worn away over the last year or so of constant use.

Quality Hoops
I buy these for my embroidery business as i use a vast amount of them. They don't cost a fortune and are a quality item that you can leave plain or paint a different colour. Easy to shop for as they're always in stock at the shop.

Does it’s job!
This embroidery hoop works extremely well- it is a good size and grips all the fabrics this I have texted in it well. It is also a nice shade of wood in case you plan on displaying your embroidery in the wheel.

These hoops are perfect for keeping my Aida tight when doing cross stitching and I also use them to display the finished pieces. I have used Hobbycraft hoops for years now and wouldn’t use anything else.

Great value and a good product
I’m new to crafting and i’m Just starting the Peter rabbit quilt from the magazine. Found this really great for the embroidery and it made it a lot easier for a beginner, really easy to use.

This product makes it easier
The hoop design means that the fabric can be stretched without your fingers having to ache to stretch it instead. I love it and it makes sewing and cross stitch so much easier in general.

Perfect for intended use
I didn't use this project for embroidery, instead used the inside wooden hoop as the hoop for a hand crafted mobile.
Sprayed it white and glue gunned dome brown rope onto it. Looks lush!

Bought to use as bases for wreath making - great value as have made two. Perfect size, easy to cover with Hobbycraft ribbon and attach flowers, leaves, rabbits made with Hobbycraft felt!

Such a helpful tool with which to start.
I bought these hoops for my grandaughter who has just started to have an interest in sewing & she loves them. I had to reign her in before she made me bankcrupt!! Lovely shop & staff.

Not so brilliant, but will be okay as a backup
The hoop had a sticker surrounding both and I had to spend considerable time trying to remove it - the clasp also does not hold thicker material very well, but comes loose.

Can’t fault it
It is sturdy and holds my fabric very well. One did have a splinter, but a quick rub with sandpaper and it was fine. Can’t fault it!

Ok but a bit flimsy
Does the job but a little flimsy and you have to tighten with fingers rather than a screw driver which isn’t so efficient.
