Excellent product
Fantastic product, I wonder how I managed before. Brush holders keep dirty brushes suspended and water pot has scrubbing board effect on bottom for wiping bristles against.

Simply FANTABULOUS!
This brush basin is actually quite ingenious! In the bottom of the water well is a series of plastic ridges which, if you scrape your brush against them, clean your brush of paint much, much quicker and easier. Ingenious! If I could change one thing it would be to have more brush holder holes in a suitable position, i.e.: not all the way round the pot, but to one side so drying brushes aren't in the way when using the brush basin.

Brilliant! Compact AND Multi-Usage.
The Hobbycraft brush basin is the perfect, portable tool for any painting student/hobbyist. At first I was apprehensive, sceptical of its durability, but after several uses I've decided it's really a perfect little box for painting. One half is a compartment to fill with water, with fins on the bottom to rub the brush against as you're cleaning the paint off of it. the other half is an ideal space to store small watercolour tubes (like the Cotman 8ml tubes which I use) making it a perfect case to fit in the bottom of a school rucksack and carry around. The lid of the box also serves as a palette, which clicks nicely into place when you're finished using it, and the holes around the edges of the box allow you to hold brushes upright while working, to avoid paint-marks on your desk space. Overall this is a highly thought-out product, it's compact, portable and ideal for art students like myself. It's a thumbs up from me.

Really useful paint container
I bought this paint box recently, it’s so useful. The lid of the box is a palette, the inside of the box has space to hold brushes, tubes of paint and even a section for water to go so you can rinse the brushes (which can be stored in around the rim of the box) It is so useful and was such a reasonable price too, brilliant!!

Great water solution
As a face painter keeping my water clean is important, the segregated areas of this pot (I have 2) allow me room for a water for dark colours, 1 for light, 1 for brights and a final rinse. The lids are great if I'm working under trees and stop bits and flies getting into my water. Only downside is the plastic stains easily.

Perfect for budding artists!
Spotted this and thought it would be perfect for my two daughters, who love painting. They tried it out and found it perfect - slots for the brushes whilst not in use, a water trough for cleaning brushes, and a section for paint tubes etc to be stored. All that, plus the lid can be used as a mixing palette!

Such a handy thing...
Thought this looked like a clever little idea and it is SOOO useful. One side holds your paints, one side holds the water with ridges in the bottom to wipe out your brushes on, handy little carrying handle and spaces around the edge for holding your brushes - such a good idea - totally invaluable already.

A surprisingly useful tub!
I've been pleasingly surprised for this very affordable brush basin. It has multiple uses: a brush holder, washer and paint/tool storage. The washer has a wonderful and effective stepped grill that you can move your brush against to help shake off paint. For the price this is a must have.

Well laid out
Perfect for acrylic painters. The unit has 3 water compartments and holes around the edge to hold brushes whilst they dry. The lid can be used as a palette as well. Pretty sturdy plastic and washes up nice and easy. Very happy with it and no more knocked over jamjars.

Great piece of kit.
This product was recommended to me by a friend who also shops at Hobbycraft and it has proven to be essential. The ridged bottom in the wash section gets your brushes cleaned effortlessly. And the lid doubles up as a useable paint pallet. Just what I needed.

Hobbycraft Brush Basin
It is just the right size and had 2 compartments, so I can have dip water and brush wash water, and there are so many paint brush holder holes all the way around it. Sure it is cheap and plastic, but works a treat for me. I'm very happy with it.

So useful and amazing
I recently bought the brush basin as I was always getting cups to put water in when I paint. This basin is SO useful. It stores any brush except from a couple of brushes but I rate this 4.9 because of its multitask ability and easy to carry.

I’ve never seen an all-in-one before. Having separates all over the table can become stressful and messy! I bought this for my son but will also be using it myself; tidier and takes up less space! LOVE IT!
