Useful but not quite as good as expected.
Bought this for grandsons to use making gingerbread men. Thought it would be easier than handling a traditional piping bag. However icing is quite stiff so it wasn’t easy for them to get the icing flowing smoothly. Even I found I needed to press very hard on the tube.

Hard to write with and takes ages to dry
Wouldn’t recommend. The pen icing isn’t free flowing and takes a fair amount of pressure to use, creating uneven writing. It also takes an absolute age to dry and was still wet 24 hours after first being applied.

Super easy to use
I purchased this for my small grandchild to decorate gingerbread men at Christmas hoping it would be easy for them to use, it didn’t disappoint, super easy and no mess, the children loved it.

Great consistency
I found this tube of writing icing to be very easy to use. It has a very good consistency making writing relatively easy. I also found that it stuck to the fondant icing very well.

Works but...
The product is easy enough to use and comes out of the tube well in a controllable stream, but it takes forever to dry witch is a pain when transporting cakes

Tasty and easy to use
Easy to use and tasted great, unlike some other icing I’ve used in the past. Easy enough for my five year old daughter to use herself too. Would recommend.

Great for writing intricate details
A great white icing, easy to pipe and write really detailed words, tastes fine but you can’t really tell when eating the rest of the cake!
