Great value for money and fun
Brought it for my 3 year old and it was a bargain. She's played with it every day alone or whilst being engaged by someone, either developing her imagination or drawing/decorating it. It took me about 5 mins to put together. As its cardboard I am last concerned about her moving around in it and it falling on her as it's so light. Surprisingly it's a lot stronger then I thought it would be. I'd happily buy more in this range or get it as a gift for someone. If I was still working in a nursery I'd buy it for their too

Simple and fantastic
We have bought a couple of these now and loved them all! The fairy house last Christmas was enjoyed over a few weeks by young and old colouring in a little section as they passed by, and played in no end of times. The shop has already had many lives, a toy shop, clothes shop and An icecream shop! And the great thing is once I get tired of the size of it in the playroom and the play has become a little tired-it can be recycled-perfect! Though that won’t be for many weeks to come yet!

Great idea but wouldn’t buy again
First off, found the instructions very difficult to follow - needs some written instructions, not pictures only. Once we eventually managed to construct it, the children loved decorating it but unfortunately it did not survive the very first play session, ripping easily. So great idea but would not purchase again - not worth the money, in my opinion, and I bought it whilst half price!

Absolutely Fantastic for the kids!
We weren't sure wether these were okay for our children (ages 6 and 9) as we thought they would be toi big for it. We bought the fairy House and we were super impressed with it! We got it in the sale. My son wanted the shop. So er went to go buy that and even tho they told us the offer would still be on it wasn't. So we paid full price for that. I bought it cos I promised him. But saying that they have got a lot of use out of it and they even camped out in the front room with them. So other than the price going up on the shop one we are really happy with them. They are quite sturdy. The kids can colour them in. It really keeps them busy. I'd definitely buy again! It's reallt easy to put together and lots more spacious than you would think!

Ok, does have some bad points.
I brought this cardboard shop to keep my boys entertained during the summer, it was quite easy to assemble apart from the shelf that sits along the window, it ended up breaking off quite early however, the boys enjoyed colouring the shop and making it their own and liked that it was just big enough for them to both get inside. I did find the shape of the shop didn’t stay how it should and the wall with the door ended up folding into its original shape instead of where the fold should be. The roof then didn’t fit snug onto the side.

Great fun
Kids love to hide, role play and colour - this has it all! Hours of fun pretending to sell snacks and ice creams etc. All 3 of my children fit in there. They also had play food in there with them, a till and colouring pens. We made our own price list and stuck it on the wall so was educational too. We were reading prices, counting money and the change, as well as using role play and pretending to play different characters.

Great idea, poor execution
Wouldn’t think about purchasing this again. Several of the small fiddly cardboard tabs that hold the whole thing together broke while I was still assembling it. I wasn’t expecting it to be durable due to it being cardboard but I had hoped the kids might get to play with it a few times before it ended up being thrown away. No such luck, the front ended up falling apart within about ten minutes, it took longer to build.

Bad design.
Just awful. I'm glad I didn't pay full price for this, but even with 50% off it's not worth it.
From the box you think yeah this is cute the kid will love this, and in theory they did, however the putting together method is awful.
Instructions are basic enough to follow, but the card itself for the roof piece is flimsy and broke after 1 attempt to put on and not only that doesn't seem to fit the base unit.
Thought this was going to be a good idea but the kid played with it once and it collapsed.

Keeps kids busy
Loved this product and so did my children
Kept them busy for hours decorating it then playing so many different games using it their imaginations of what the ‘shop’ turned into simply amazed me would definitely purchase again maybe a different style
Only gave 4 stars as I found it a bit tricky to put together maybe some words on the instructions might of helped I soon got there in the end

Not the best buy
Following the positive reviews I brouhht this for my son. The idea is great however it's quite fiddly to put together and rather flimsy once you do. It was in the bin after one afternoon of play.

A good project for bored kids!!
I bought this during the school summer holidays, as a project to keep 2 nephews entertained.
I bought 2 paint and brushes kits as well, so each nephew had their own paint set to decorate the shop.
We spent a hot summer's day making and painting the shop (in the shade).
They now like to sell soft drinks from their shop, to the family, to make extra pocket money for themselves!!
My nephews are 8 and 10, and I ordered it expecting it to be too small to fit them both (it would have been turned into a den, if that was the case), but relieved to say, they both fit in there together (sitting down).
My only complaint - the door frame doesn't have much support, so is a little bit flimsy, but overall, very pleased.
Family members have commented on how good it looks, when they come round!!

Is ok.. putting together is a nightmare!
Bought this today.. in general my kids (2yo & 3yo) love them. We’ve had the cardboard houses before so once they’re up my kids thoroughly enjoying playing with them until they can no longer stand..
Weve had the gingerbread house, igloo and now this.. however this one in comparison to rest is a nightmare to put together. The instructions make no sense so when opening the box you end up opening it wrong so end up losing half the roof, the ledge that sits on the front of the shop does slot in together properly so crumbles away after 10 minutes of play. I get its only £20 but when it’s going to take a small village to put the bits together it becomes a joke. Will buy more cardboard houses.. just not this one.

Very difficult to build
I don’t like leaving negative reviews but this was not easy to put together and needed some cellotape fixes where it ripped. The instruction pictures were not very helpful but I guess you get what you pay for and hopefully all the stress will be worth it when my granddaughter sees it. Don’t see how it’s collapsable though without all the stress again.

Good fun
My 4 year old loved using this as a shop and a cafe. It was fairly easy to assemble. lots of hours spent colouring. My only complaint is that the shelf/counter at the front kept flopping forwards under the weight of any play food placed on top. I made sure it was secured properly, but perhaps the cutouts needed to be a little deeper.

Absolutely AWFUl!!!!
Don’t purchase this playhouse, the design is ridiculous!! The slots didn’t line up, the roof is a joke! I’ve always purchased our playhouses from Hobbycraft and we have loved them all. However, the design on this one is just plain stupid. The box turns into the roof, which in theory sounds great but it didn’t fit ours. The slots tore and then the tabs wouldn’t fit. Our slots weren’t even lined up so there was no way the tabs would fit. So frustrating as my daughter sat waiting for it and then I had to put it in the recycling bin. Really can’t rate it low enough!

I bought this for my granddaughter, I now know why it was half price. If I’d known how awful it was I wouldn’t have bothered. Hard to put together. And just a waste of money.

Great fun for rainy afternoons
If you’re looking for something fun to keep the kids occupied on a rainy day this is great. Not too difficult to put together and suprisingly sturdy. Kids (and adults) had lots of fun building, colouring, decorating and playing with it. Please be careful not to let overexcited hands rip the box, which forms part of the roof of the building. Pro tip: When it’s all played out you can also compost it, so no need to fill the cardboard bin either.

Brings lots of fun
Loved that the whole thing became the shop. The kids enjoy it, they are 7 & 10 and it’s big enough for them as I was afraid it would be too small as it comes in quite a small box

Lovely afternoon crafts

Great rainy day fun
I bought this to provide some indoor imaginative fun on a week when we had constant torrential rain.
My kids loved it. The colouring in provided hours of entertainment and then they played shop for days.
I deducted one star only because the side with the door access is a little flimsy and started to tear when I was slotting the pieces together but somebody less heavy handed might not have had the same issue.

Colour- in cardboard. Build, colour, play.
Great value for money.
Useful size.
Plenty of space once built.
A real brilliant items to allow those little creative sides to flourish.
Would most certainly recommend.
And the best bit! It no mess when when your done. Not rushing to the tip ect. When clearing out. Just pot it out with your general recycling. As simple as that.
5 stars all the way and would certainly buy again.

Tape needed
Takes 2 to build, good to colour and bigger then expected. Breaks very easily, but mended with a bit of tape, ours lasted 9 days before total collapse thats with a 5yr old and 3yr old and 4 cats that seemed to enjoy

A Class Above The Rest
I purchased this item to go on my craft table at school.
The children loved it it serves a duel purpose firstly as a great art project and secondly great for imaginitive play and because they spent so much time working on it they are looking after it with extra care .. I'll be definitely looking at your other themes and looking into incorporating another into my lessons next term!

Fantastic imaginative engaging activity
love this product, 4 children aged 7 6 4 and 2 suited them all and they loved interacting and playing shop then colouring in their favourite foods with colours we bought scented pens which made the food smell great. It is very study and easy to use and put up. Be very careful when opening. Fantastic product will be buying more for birthdays ect

Very good value for money
We’ve not actually put this together yet we also bought the castle version my plan is to bring this out when that one is tatty. My son plays in the castle everyday. He is 3 & just getting interested in shops and money. I plan to get some fake money to play shop with him. It’s a good opportunity to slip in some maths while playing too.

Great buy - very entertaining!
Amazing product, kept my kids occupied for hours - first they painted shop backgrounds, then coloured in details. It was really easy to put together - took me about 5 min - greatest feature - it uses the original box as a roof -
so no cardboard waste - it gave my kids many days of fun - 3 weeks later - still standing, very sturdy.

Big painting play area
It is a stable shop that my daughter has loved to paint on different days and play in as her personal shop. It needed to be assembled slowly as the box is part of the shop and to make sure it was put up correctly. When assembled she has loved it and it's a lovely shop for the price payed well worth the money
