The Cricut Joy Xtra can cut up to A4 size, perfect for using the print then cut feature. The Xtra offers a larger cutting area than the original Cricut Joy, while the Cricut Explore can cut up to 12 x 12 inches.
The Explore has a faster cutting speed and can be used with a broader range of materials. Both Joy machines cut over 50 materials, while the Cricut Explore cuts over 100 different materials.

Excellent machine. Able to do print and cut and a4 sized projects. Cuts really well and light and compact enough to move around if needed. Great value for money and all accessories are products I would have purchased anyway and some I have repurchased 😊

Great for making signs for my tool dust bags.
Great for making the iron-on signs for my dust bags for power tools to go in to keep them clean & tidy. Only disappointment is that not all the accessory's are available. For example the green & Purple cutting mats.

Joy Xtra Bundle
Great machine and does what i want to do. The only thing is that the mat that comes in the bundle seens to be a bit to wide. When using it it bends upwards and catches on the back of the machine. You have been out of stock of the mats since the day after buying the bundle. This is disappointing.

Doesn’t cut everything
It’s a good little machine for cutting card and vinyl but it won’t cut through felt or leather which is what I wanted, disappointing as the shop assistant assured me it would. Tried changing the blade to a deep cut blade but made no difference.

Great machine. Easier to use then my brother scan and cut. Glad it came with a Matt as the ones I have don't fit so definitely good that it is a bundle package. If you want a A4 cutter for making stationary this is it!

I found it hard to connect it to my computer as there were so many apps. I eventually managed it. I had had a lesson and have another one soon so hopefully will understand it better then. Also thete are not many patterns that are free you really have to pay for most of them. Having daid that im hoping once I get used to the way it works I don't regret buying it.

Joy Extra, who needs anything else!!
This machine is ideal for the work we do. It's easy to transport, covers most of the projects we work on.
We also have the small Cricut Joy and Explore Air 2 but the Joy Extra seems far more practical.
Also its ease of use is a bonus.

Lovely little machine. Being so small it is easy to move around the house, or to take to a friend’s house. It doesn’t do as much as the Cricut maker but the convenience makes it a worthwhile addition to your collection.

Great start point and excellent value bundle
The Joy Xtra is a bit of a sweet spot for digital crafting, not as much as an investment (in money or physical space) as the main machines, but much more capable than the original Joy. Love it.
