I am a professional illustrator and found this paper wonderful to work on. It was resciliant and withstood reworking of Acrylic and mixed media work. I have produced many drawing on this and my clients have been happy with my artwork produced on it! This paper is beautifully smooth and great heavyweight quality!

Worth the money!
Perfect for what I need, a good sized sketchbook and the paper is good for most materials, not too bad for water colour either since the paper is so thick. You get a good amount of paper too for the prices unlike some more expensive paper brands!

Just the right weight for using pastels
I wanted a sketch pad to use daily and to use pencils/pastels depending on the subject. These Hobbycraft sketch books fitted the job perfectly. I haven't used them before but I am sure to re-order in the future. Good for xmas presents too!

Very heavy paper
Though it claims to be 200gsm, the paper is very heavy (almost like card) this is good for watery/ink style artworks.
The paper is slightly rough (which is less good for pencil artworks).

Good quality paper
Thick paper allows for heavy coverage without any leakage through, can take papers out to put in portfolio once completed
However the papers tend to curl up once painting is dry
