Easy to work with
This clay is so easy to mould and work with. Great price and dries quickly. I left mine overnight and it was rock solid in the morning. Also it doesn’t dry out in the packet. I put my leftover clay in a ziplock bag and it has been completely fine and still mouldable!

floristry wire ,lovely colours
the lady who served me at the store she was amazing.i asked to see a wire tree display, i asked the lady how it was made, when the lady replied saying how it was her who made it, i asked what she used and i bought everything that i needed, as i was so impressed with her wire tree.this staff member derves all credit from you, with her kindness.

Optimum quality and pliability
A top rate air hardening clay with good moulding qualities and not too sticky.
An improvement to the packaging could be to have some kind of air tight resealable bag. Not everyone wants to use it all up in one go.

Great site with a great selection and exellent delivery
I was having great difficulty finding modelling clay locally for my granddaughters school project. I have never shopped at Hobbycraft before an was hugely impressed with the website and the slick delivery of exactly what we needed.
I can confirmed project completed on time thanks to Hobbycraft.
I have no hesitation is recommending Hobbycraft.

Glad it was on offer, too dry and firm
Much drier than the usual grey clay, had to add water to it to stop it splitting and it was firmer which made it more difficult for the children to mould. I wouldn't buy it at full price

This product is easy to use.
I am experimenting with this product as it's the first time iv'e used it. I have rolled out the clay and cut out circles, dried in a day, painted with water colour paints and varnished with outdoor varnish. So far pleased with ease of use and overall affect.

Soft and easy to shape into item, dries well

Das varnish to finish so l could put flower heads on bamboo sticks as decoration for winter flower tubs. Excellent product try it.

This product is great and easy to use!
DAS clay is brilliant for beginners in clay making. I have really enjoyed the easy procedure of making and moulding the clay! It’s safe to use around kids with supervision and great for fun and practical projects like making mugs! It dries really well with little to no cracks and I’ve found is pretty solid so isn’t a fragile material once dry! I continue to buy it for projects for uni and for fun!

Soft and easy to sculpt
Great product, nice and soft straight from the pack. Dries out quite quickly though so you have to keep fingers and tools wet while working, not great for getting really fine detail but that might be down to my skill level. I’ve been attempting to sculpt a figurine about 10” tall and so I’ve switched to Fimo polymer clay instead as it stays soft until baked.

Easy fun with air dry clay
The DAS clay products are fabulous to use, and a suitable entry level if you are a new to this craft. You can start very simply with cookie cutters, and a rolling pin. Just like making biscuits, you knead and roll out the clay and cut out or shape by hand. Drying time is required. They are a perfect project for hanging decorations and gifts!.

DAS Fantastic Air clay
Das Air Hardning clay is really versatile to use
I have used on its own to make Sculptures and Models and with Plastic model kits to increase bases and buildings .I use small travel hair dryer to speed up parts of project but don't over do ,as long as kept airtight it lasts in bag, Ideal for getting that artistic surge outta you

Perfect for making Xmas decorations
Bought for my son to make Xmas decorations we simply rolled it out used cookie cutters to cut it the shapes then a straw to cut out a hole for ribbon to thread through.. waited 3 days for it to dry then painted them. What an amazing out come! We had so much fun doing these with plenty of clay left over to make other things

The product works amazing for the price and quantity
I used the clay for a project that used complex shapes and forms and the clay held up very well
It did not dry while working with it and was soft so it felt good to work with.
Once dry it held its shape with few cracks that were easy to fix and basically unnoticed
Over all a great product

Great for sculptures
This product is great "no baking", so children can see the finished result straight away. Even though it took a few days for the models to dry, before painting. Was used with 4 year old, 7 & 9 year old. I would recommend this product.

Good value for money
Its easy to use. Lots of youtube videos on its usage so please watch them before buying. It has strong smell which will not go ftom your hands even after a day or two. On the whole its quantity and texture is quite good.

Das is just the job for me and my crafting, it is pliable, and the texture is smooth. I have tried cheaper products but have not been at all satisfied with the clay cracking etc, Das never does that, so I am sold on Das

Does what it said on the packet
I purchased this clay as my pottery class has been postponed due to the Corvus-19 virus.

Great product for crafting!
I used this to create a few clay sculptures for Christmas presents and it's brilliant. It took longer than it said to dry, probably about 3 days till it was completely solid. They're quite thick sculptures so I wasn't bothered by it.
The clay isn't super easy to make it look smooth as it wrinkles a little as it dries and shrinks, but I expected that. You can sand it down a little once it dries so that sorts it out!
