Great fun and look so good.
Spent a fun two hours making snow globes with my three grandchildren. They were so pleased with their finished globe. The product is great quality and value for money.

Good quality, one flaw
I particularly like how it is not like glass or something that can shatter, another good thing is that it is very light. There is only one problem, when working with the product it catches a lot of thumbprints so you don't get a clean sophisticated touch. It is also very sensitive to scratches as well.

Perfect stocking filler
I have my own craft business and buy most of my products from Hobbycraft, this is my new finding and have created Gin Snowglobes for Christmas. They have been very popular and the price means I make a reasonable profit. Would recommend.

DIY snow globe
Great idea in principle however we ended up having to buy lots of different glues as the figures kept coming unstuck when the water was added.
Be better if the proper glue was sold next to the product but overall a good purchase

They look really good
Good quality and the end result looks really good and Christmassy :)
One thing I want to mention: the base seems made of silicone and the only glue that worked for us was the basic Pritt one.

Made it work
The plastic bit at the bottom seemed to repel any glue that we tried to stick our items onto, perhaps instructions could come in handy with advice on what does work with it.

Great until you try sticking
Fab idea however purchased angel plus glitter and strong glue in store but the surfaces are uneven and just won't hold. Anticlimax for the children as were very excited.

Great idea but has its flaws
They are a great idea but it was difficult to glue your theme to the rubber bung.
Managed to get it to stick in the end, and the children loved them

Amazing product
Wanted to start on the Christmas presents early this year and decided to make some snow globes. These fillable globes are the perfect size to fit multiple items in, the seal makes you feel confident that the glitter won’t get everywhere.
Only downside is the plastic is easily ‘Popped’ which is okay if your still in the making process as you can pop them out. But if popped after sealed it’s a nightmare.
Awesome product and worth the money, going to be getting more!

This was a perfect solution to a half term activity. The grand children love to make snow globes.This is a perfect size and has a good cap and screw lid to keep the water etc. from seeping out. I bought four and all the extras as well

Plastic Fillable Snow Globe
Bought just one, should have bought a few more they are great for filling with all sorts of things, not tried to see if they are water tight but I think they look as if they are. Easy little project to stick some fake trees and add water with glitter to make your own snow ball, I'm going to use mine as a dome to cover miniature sculptures. They are plastic, has a double lid.

Bought this kit as a gift for someone who is mad on all things Titanic! He couldn’t wait to start building it but was so disappointed there was no polystyrene cement or paints included. It isn’t obvious on the box that these items are not included otherwise I would have purchased them at the same time.
Would it not make sense to include these essential items?

Not got for purpose!!
No ornaments would stick to the rubber stopper, despite using a glue gun as shown on HobbyCrafts’ tutorial. Also tried gorilla glue but that didn’t adhere to the stopper either, although both glues did stick to my ornaments!
I have asked HobbyCraft to remove this from sale as it is not fit for purpose. Very disappointing and big waste of time.

great size and plastic not glass.
Super size to fill for a mantle piece ornament. I was looking for plastic so the grandchildren can make the decorations. We had a glass one many years ago and it broke. Children love looking at tiny scenes and there is a nice selection there. I’ll use white felt for snow instead of cotton wool, so that the house and tree etc can be stuck down.

Impossible to stick anything to the silicone seal
I bought three of these for my children who were very excited as a Christmas gift. However we are now onto trying our third type of glue to get anything to stick to the silicone base which is both a.costly, and b.annoying and boring for the children. I would not recommend at all. Pretty disappointed as hobby craft products are often so great.

Not watertight, impossible to glue items down
I bought 3 of these to make custom snow globes as Christmas gifts for my young sons and niece. I wish I’d read the reviews beforehand. The first problem was how to glue items to the silicone bung. I created the scenes on a polystyrene base and then attempted to glue that down using hot glue. It stuck until I did a test by placing the bung into the snow globe and then removed it - the scene immediately popped off when the bung flexed.
I then used silicone to stick it down, which worked initially but after a night with liquid inside that also failed.
After sitting with liquid inside for less than 24 hours the globe also leaked badly, so even had the items adhered properly there’s no way I could fill it with liquid and gift it to a child.
Super disappointed that I spent over £20 buying materials to make snow globes and now have 3 disappointed kids. I wish I had read all the reviews fully rather than trusting they would be good quality.

Seals nice and tight to add fake snow
Right size seals tight affordable purchase hardly weighs anything nice and light ideal purchase for children to enjoy making as well as adults of all ages bought 2 I think first time and went back to get more to make for my grandchildren which I know they will love also being made of plastic also makes it ideal for the children

Good but damages easily
The globes seem great, though ive not tested their water tightness yet.
Only drawback I have seen so far is they seem to be very easily scratched which means they lose their gift appeal a little.
Brill idea for crafts with kiddies however. Mine will be used to make xmas gifts feom my 5 year old

Disappointing
I was really disappointed with these. Enjoyed making them with the kids but couldn't get anything to stay stuck so the ornaments kept coming free from the bottom. In the end it looks like superglue is holding (bottom is silicone). Was really surprised as expect better from hobbycraft.
