Mess Free hand-eye co-ordination
These books are a great way for little hands to learn the ropes of colouring in, with the added bonus of no mess! The pictures are fun and inviting for little people to want to have a go. The pen (to be filled with water) is easy to grip. The colours that emerge are of a good depth. Definitely an all round pleaser!

Great buy!
Bought this for my 2.5 year old granddaughter as it reminded me of the water painting books I had as a little girl. She loves it and thinks it’s magic as new parts of the pictures appear. Helps with her counting and recognising farmyard animals too. Will be buying a different one next time I go to Hobbycraft.

Not worth the money
I'm not impressed with this drawing pad. It claimed to be used again and again,but as you use water to draw this caused the cardboard go ruined very quickly. It was only last for 1 day for my daughter to draw on it. And cost £6.00!!! it only should cost £1.00. However my daughter enjoyed it so much.

Ingenious product
This is completely ingenious! It’s completely mess free, super entertaining for my toddler and what’s best is it’s reusable. He doesn’t have the largest attention span or ability to do arts and crafts neatly so this works perfect! Will definitely be using it on a regular basis

Excellent fun
Both my 3 and 5 year old enjoyed this activity book. Great for mark making and hand writing practise without any mess. You have to make sure they don't press too hard whilst colouring it in as it will scrap the special paper off. And it dries super quick in hot weather.

Hours of fun
My little boy absolutely loves this so much we have had to buy other ones in the range. He spends ages doing them and the great thing is they can be used again and again. Also love the fact they make no mess as only water meaning you can take them out with you easily.

Lots of peace and quiet
My daughter loves these so much that this is the second time we have bought them. They last a long time. My daughter paints these daily and it took 12 months to rub all the covering off. Lots of fun for her and peaceful time for mommy. The pen they come with is handy

Great product
Great product my 18 month old nephew loves making all the animals appear. The fact when dry it can be reused makes it get value for money and the pen that you fill up means no water spills to clean up, like when using a paint brush.

Needs a permanent pen attachment
Good for practicing holding/ using a pen, colouring and naming colours/animals. A nice item to pull out when at a restaurant. The negative is when you've removed the pen there isn't somewhere to attach it so it doesn't go missing.

just fill in water into the pen.. that's it kids can enjoy for long enough to finish my duties around in the house.. and the best thing is no need to worry about cleaning the surroundings,hands and stained dresses

My daughters just turned 3 and loves this book. If we have a long journey it keeps her occupied without risking pens leaking on clothes or car fabrics! Its a hardy book to and reusable

Great little mess free entertainment
I brough this as a gift for a friends 2 year old. It’s great to encourage doodling and as it’s only water you can take it anywhere knowing you won’t make a mess! Easily reusable too!

Perfect for the car.

My 6 year old granddaughter loves these books. You ‘paint’ with water so there is no mess and when it dries out the colours disappear so the pictured can be ‘painted’ again
