Glass work desk
Desk was available immediately, l was helped with loading the car and all for a very avoidable price. Construction was pretty simple and seems sturdy at first use. I would recommend this product and Hobbycraft. Thank you

This product is amazing
I’m absolutely in love with this art desk. If you do any type of art, I highly recommend this desk. It has many great features but 1 very convenient is that you can adjust the top of the table. It acts like a mini easel

Very useful table
I bought this table, because the top is in glass. And for me is a must, because I can trace my patterns putting a light down the glass. It was easy to assemble, I did it alone.

Drawing table
It was easy to put together, but definitely needs 2 people. Very sturdy and the top glass bit can be easily adjusted. Nice to work on and all the drawers are easy to reach. Altogether happy with it.

I'm very pleased with this.
Great to use.
I'm just a little concerned that one or two of the welded joints dont look as well done as the majority and one is a wee bit rusty. I guess being indoors that shouldn't be a problem!
I wonder if the pencil pots and trays wouldnt have been better fixed to the frame rather than tilting with the glass. I don't use the 'pot/cup' shaped holes when I have it at max tilt as the pencils don't stay put.
Im enjoying using it though. Much more comfortable for my neck and shoulders being able to vary things. The smoothness makes it lovely to use when I'm drawing on drafting film.

Very useful!
Very good for space and weight of the table that lifts up isn’t too much to be inconvenient. Would definitely recommend! Was a little hard to get the draw together, as the instructions weren’t very clear for that step, but overall very useful and good value for money!

Great for all my different craft projects.
We altered the desk so I could use it, removed the draw from underneath, so I could have enough room. Instructions were not very clear, so it took longer to put together, have used it ever day.

Poor quality, badly designed, not worth the money
Bought as a Christmas present for my aspiring artist daughter who has wanted this for ages.
She is pleased with the tilting glass top however the desk is poor quality and poorly designed.
The large drawer doesn’t seat in properly on both sides so sits unevenly. The small drawers are only attached on one side so the cube warps and they don’t sit square.
Bizarrely the plastic holders on the side are attached to the tilting top not the side of the desk frame so when you tilt the table the implements fall out. This is made worse by having to lift the top almost vertically to flatten it again. These plastic trays don’t clip down properly as they don’t fit the hole well so keep popping up. They could so easily be attached to the desk frame it seems lazy not to have rectified this shocking design fault.
Our desk needs to be almost vertical to flatten and we have to be careful as the desk becomes unstable and could topple over and be dangerous when all the weight is at the front. This is an accident waiting to happen.
The metal ledge at the front is set away from the glass top so pens and pencils frequently get stuck in the gap. Because of this and the fact that it’s such a high ledge, we have removed ours as it gets in the way of your arms.
If this had been a £50 desk I may have expected such poor quality and basic design faults but this really isn’t worth the money. Very disappointed.

Glass art table
It was a bit awkward to put together though, the instructions aren't that great. Some of the bits for it don't sit level like the compartments either side, one is higher up than the other, I'm thinking of taking them off and putting them in the drawer underneath, it would be better if they were connected underneath the tilting top because things do fall out of them when you tilt the top up. Overall a good table though and surprisingly light and easy to move.

Art Desk, tricky to construct but solid desk.
Lovely desk, quite fiddly to build (It was part-built, taken apart and re-built a couple of times) due to errors in my understanding of quite small and blurry instruction diagrams, but solid desk when finally completed. My daughter, due to start secondary school in September, is very pleased with the desk for her to complete both her homework and any art projects on.

Art for IBBB's sake, she loves it.
My daughter loves painting and drawing, usually floor, carpet and vinyl, and leaves things everywhere. This desk is a "NO BRAINER". Took me a while to assemble. Easier with electric drill/screwdriver which was loaned out... my budding creator (7 in a week) can keep paints and brushes all together. The glass top is brill...

This desk is great but just one gripe...
Desk was fairly easy to put together and has adequate storage and a great adjustable glass top. My only gripe is that one of the bolts supplied for the small screws did not have any thread and so the screw wouldnt tighten and I couldnt complete the assembly of the sliding drawer. I now have to find a bolt to fit it!

Large art desk with lots of useful features.
A wonderful art desk. It's large and the draws, underneath and to the side are very useful. The attachments to the sides of the desk are invaluable for holding brushes, pens, pencils etc. All together a great desk. The only niggle I have is that you have to raise it to the top to lower the desk.

Great table, instructions are wrong!
Brilliant little table, built it twice wondering where all these A bolts are as last step calls for 5 A screws and 1 G but it's actually the other way round.
Would be good if it came with a stool like the wooden version but decent little table for what I paid in sale and had a voucher off too!

Adjustable art and craft Desk
Actual Tavel is great and enough room for all the tasks I use it for. The instructions could have been a little clearer in parts as I had to undo everything and start again twice as it does not show where similar looking parts have to be facing a certain direction for correct assembly.

Good but could be better
Decent table, BUT i had to redrill and put rivet nuts in a few holes because the box section the table is made from is tapped so very little thread to screw into which led to very loose screws and no thread.

Excellent Buy!
This glass top desk is superb! A great size, extremely sturdy and looks fabulous. The drawers are very useful and the fact that the whole desk tilts is brilliant. Good storage on either side is handy, too.

Much nicer than expected, I haven’t attached plastic side pieces as didn’t need these, shallow metal tray very useful. The black drawers are what let’s it down., they are cheap and nasty and don’t last.
