Reliable thread
I like to keep a supply of black thread in my sewing box. Had just used up the previous supply making dinosaur shorts for my grandson, so was pleased to replace it with this reliable Gutermann thread which I've used before.

Replacement reel of black for my sewing box
This reel replaces the reel of black Guttermann thread which ran out. It’s in my sewing box for unexpected repairs of hems and loose buttons. A good quality thread which isn’t ‘furry’ and it won’t snap unexpectedly.

Great quality.
This thread is really of a great quality. It is strong and doesn't break. I tried it with different fabrics and it didn't disappoint so far. I am thinking about buying more colours of the same type.

Good strong thread
Good quality and a really good price! Doesn't seem to get into those awful unmanageable knots. Easy to thread through needles. Doesn't break easily so I'm not worried my stiches will break

The thread is just right
The threads were easliy located on the first floor. I was looking for a thread to secure a button. Upon assistants advice I chose black nylon thread which is easy to cut and thread .

Gutermann is a brilliant make it is the only thread my sewing machine will take, any other make and my machine will go wrong, eg pucker, thread will get stuck round bobbin etc

Importance of good thread

Good quality thread

What a thread. A thread for all things.
It can tackle most sewing jobs or crafting. When I leave a reel of thread in my sewing machine it is either this one or a white one. Universal for most jobs in a rush.
