It doesn't last at all also by morning most of balloons where half way on the floor.

Do not buy
This product does not contain enough gas concentration for foil balloons to float. Complete disappointment. The tank I had must be faulty as this cannot be sold in such a poor state as it does not do what it says on the box. Don’t waste your money.

Don’t waste your time.
I bought this to blow up some balloons for my daughters 4th birthday. The box came damaged and only managed to blow up in 4 balloons before running out. Emailed hobbycraft as not happy, had one reply and nothing since. Not worth the money.

Bit flat
The balloons didn’t stay up for long at all- maybe 7 hours max? So we prepped the decorations in the morning and by the time we wanted them for the tables they were coming down!

Complete waste of money. Will not shop here again
Bought 2 50 balloon canisters. Blew balloons up this morning for a party at 12 o clock and after 2 hours the balloons are on the floor. Will not be using hobbeycraft in future. Not only am I angry but I have a disappointed daughter and am 80 pounds out of pocket. Would have given zero stars if I could

Only blew up a few balloons, all sank within hours
I got this last year for my sons 3rd birthday party and have just checked online to see if we’d just got a faulty bottle as planning his 4th party atm. But I can see all the other reviews had the same experience so I won’t be buying from hobbycraft again. The canister only blew up a VERY small handful of balloons before running out. We did that the morning of the party, the party was at 11am and ended at 1pm. By that time all balloons had sunk onto the floor. Very disappointing. From seeing the other reviews which mirror the experience, I will never buy this from here again and will be looking elsewhere and checking the reviews before I do. Shame as hobbbycraft usually have decent quality products.

Not worth the money
Not sure if I had a dodgy bottle, but this canister was unable to fill up anywhere near the maximum is said that it could. As well as this the ones I did fill with air, had deflated within 10 hours of blowing them up so all the balloons I had prepared for my baby shower the day before I then couldn’t use and essentially wasted £40.
I have used helium before so know the best temperatures to keep it in and never had a problem previously, usually last a couple of days - a week but the gas from this one did not last even one day.
Very disappointed bearing in mind it was £40.

Could be better
Purchased this item for a birthday party. I was helped inside store by a lovely lady, very helpful. Unfortunately I was unaware a spanner was needed to tighten adopter. The adopter doesn’t work unless fully tight. With time on my side I had to use without and a lot of gas wasted. A spanner could be supplied or a push in adopter.

A great size & price for this canister of helium. We were able to fill so many balloons just to make this lockdown birthday special. Easy to pick up from store & use. I shall be getting future canisters for other parties from here.

Helium Tank CHECK it contains helium B4 purchase!
I had to return it to the shop because it was just full of air and not helium! Was extremely embarrassing as I had purchased it last minute to save the day at an event in Hull which was many miles away and when I got there everyone was so pleased that I had managed to get it until we filled a helium quality balloon and it fell to the floor! DREADFUL! The shop Manager tried to tell me that the balloons would only last a couple of hours and I gave her one that I had filled before driving 10minutes up the road. That, unsurprisingly, also fell to the floor!

Wouldn’t waste your time. I filled 12 balloons, which was within the number it stated it would fill. I filled them at 9pm the night before they were needed. Left them in the living room ready for the birthday surprise the next morning and only one of the balloons filled was still floating. The rest were on the floor. The one that remained floating is still floating a week later. Very disappointed.

Easy but not accurate
Thought this would be perfect for my sons 18th so I had latex and foil balloons but sadly it only filled 12 latex and therefore couldn’t fill his foil balloons for his lockdown birthday! So dissatisfied but hobbycraft refunded half the price. Not ideal and does not make up for loss of balloons at the party, but at least they recognised the mistake.
I won’t buy this ever again.../

Didn't blow up 2 balloons
Got this to blow up 3 small 18" foil balloons come to do the 3rd and got half way through and it stopped working. The can was empty. Hadn't touched it until the night before my little boys birthday. For the price of £23 I could have paid less at the post office! I just thought it would be handy to have for my 2nd boys birthday which is coming up at the end of the month.

Terrible.
Absolutely shocking. I needed to blow up 20 balloons for my granddaughter's 1st birthday party. The tank managed to do 3!! Not happy at all. The rest of the balloons had to be filled with air. Extremely disappointed. This is the first time I'd shopped in Hobbycraft. Never again.

The first canister ran out after 7 balloons. Hobbycraft were great and gave me another with no quibble. The second filled the rest but the balloons only stayed up for an hour and then began to drop. I wouldn't buy this product again. However I do think Hobbycraft customer service was excellent. So I will still shop there.

Too late to exchange
Very disappointing tank but great customer service, but unfortunately this did not help. Has it advises only to inflate the balloons up several hours before you just assume there would be no issues, I wanted to inflate about 18 9 Inch balloons and 6 12 Inch, I knew this may not be possible but was so disappointed when it only inflated 12 9 Inch, it was too late to get another canister and luckily I had glue dots and an inflator to stick balloons to ceiling instead. They where inflated about 4 hours before the event and when we arrived about 4of them had deflated and were on the tables. It was too much to stress about but after the event I got in touch with Hobbycraft who did reimburse the cost and even though this was good, it definitely spoilt the ambience of the room.

Doesnt fill 30 regular sized balloons.
Didnt actually fill 30 balloons. Not even close. It filled 12 completely and another about 1/3 full. Obviously the balloon size quoted on the box is a lot smaller than a standard party balloon so i felt mislead and ripped off. Paying well over £2 to fill each balloon is ridiculous.

Turn it 4 times to open up helium release - it did not release - turn nearly blew up the house firing around the kitchen like a missile gone wrong - dodgy product waste of money - instead I nearly turned into a balloon having to blow 30 balloons up with my own air

Not 50!
I purchase this larger size canister, 50 balloons, as I needed to inflate approx 30. However, it barely filled 25, rather disappointing for my father in law’s 80th birthday celebrations. The inflated size was around 9/10 inches each, expected not to run out.

Simple to use
My daughters 18th birthday was an event I wanted to make special even amidst the covid pandemic. Although pubs and restaurants had reopened we wanted a lively affair with friends and family so decided to decorate our own party tent.
The helium canister gave me the ability to display balloons of various shapes and sizes and was VERY simple to use. The overall effect of multiple helium filled balloons gave a REALLY effective look, the exact creation I had in mind! I was very pleased with my purchase!!

Confused at the negative comments, filled foil balloons on Saturday morning and they look just as good on Tuesday morning. Didnt use the whole tank so cant say how many I would have left in the tank. Very friendly staff in store
