Too Thick
I am very disappointed with this Tracing Paper your suppose to see through. I have wasted money on this item.

This says it is tracing paper, however without a lightbox or very large window it is impossible to trace anything as you cannot see through the paper without it being back lit.
The paper is a nice thickness which would be durable for a pattern used a lot, however it does mean that it can be tricky to keep it flat/flush to material when pinning. I had to re-pin a number of times as the 'tracing paper' had lifted/moved.
It may be relatively cheap but I will NOT be purchasing again, would have been easier and cheaper to use baking paper

Not see through
Not really what I expected, I normally use Burda tracing paper which is almost like tissue paper so I can see the pattern lines underneath. This one has large sheets of 70/80gsm paper, similar to printing paper, probably best to use for carbon tracing. Next time I'll buy white tissue paper, much cheaper as well!

Sturdy and long lasting
This paper is thicker than I am used to but still fairly easy to trace multi sized patterns! Ideal for small sized dresses, shorts and tops but trousers and dresses required me to extend the paper a little.
I've been able to use the same traced pattern multiple times without tearing.

Great for tracing
This product is good for tracing over a pattern however I feel it would be better if it was sold also on a roll. Since it was folded it meant my paper was slightly bulky and I kept having to flatten it.

Did not meet requirements
This paper was too thick to trace the pattern I wanted to use. I couldn't see the outline of the pattern due to the thickness of the paper.

It's tracing paper.
It's good tracing paper. Thick and strong enough to make long-lasting patterns with, but still translucent enough to make pattern copying easy.
The only minor criticism is that it's supplied tightly folded in the pack. So if you want to do accurate traces you do need to iron the creases out of it first.
I would love to be able to get this stuff on a crease-free roll instead.

Awful, don't buy
Despite being labelled tracing paper, it is far too opaque and not fit for purpose. It is folded up tightly to fit into the packet so I had to spend ages ironing it, and then once that was finished I couldn't even use the paper because it was impossible to see the pattern through it. Total waste of money and time as I've had to go find other tracing paper elsewhere.

Dressmakers “tracing” paper
I would not describe this as tracing paper and found it too opaque to allow me to trace my dressmaking patterns. It would be fine for drafting my own patterns as it is a good quality, fairly thick paper but, is folded very small so will need some ironing to make it useable due to the many creases.

I was expecting the paper to be thinner, this is just as thick as a standard roll of paper I had. Still had to use a lightbox to be able to trace through it.
However there is a lot of it, the sheets are quite large and robust.
Price is a little high, but overall, they do the job.

Fantastic product
Does what it says on the time, the tracing paper is great for all types of dressmaking, it does only tend to take one skirt piece on a sheet, but you can arrange bodice pieces around it. I do love this paper and never make a stop at hobbycraft without adding some to my basket

Does what it says.
It is quite a thick tracing paper, but it works. It will probably be better if your have a light box. My friend taped the pattern she was copying to a large window and taped the tracing paper over that. It worked well. It is nice and robust and does not tear easily.

Too opaque to be tracing paper
I had read previous reviews about this product & as there had been responses by Hobbycraft, thought that the item would have been changed accordingly, but no. If you are wanting paper which is at least translucent, let alone transparent, then avoid this product.

Perfect - robust yet thin!
Used to trace my size from a multi size pattern (a tip found on line which enables you to make different sizes, lengths, views or amend the size from one pattern). Thin enough for tracing & pinning whilst robust enough to use several times. Highly recommended.

Great product
I was in a pinch and bought this paper, was sceptical at first becuase i like a certain type but was blown away by the quality and multi use. Can use for tracing patterns or making new ones and it doesn't rip as easily as ones I've bought through Amazon!!

Easy to work with and good price
Perfect for someone who sews occasionally and doesn’t need oodles of pattern paper. This pack should be enough for around 2 clothing patterns. It is easy to use and sturdy so your pattern pieces will keep their shapes well. Recommend to others!

Great for other things, not for tracing
Far to thick, I couldnt see what I was tracing, had to go back and buy the single sheets.
Good for drawing around an already cut out pattern, as it had been used that much, I needed a fresh one, as this was thicker, it was great for this.

This product was not good for me
Bought this after asking the sales person in the store. She assured me that I could copy my pattern with ease.
Unfortunately I have found that you can beardy see through it, is far too thick and not very playable. A total waste of money.

Excellent quality..great size!
Thevpdper is excellent quality and a very good big size. I was able to tape two if the sheets together for the required size- it sticks nicely. I had paper from elsewhere previously and was shiny...tape didn't stay on. Highly recommend!

Finally somewhere I can buy it
I have been struggling so much to find these sheets their a must have for me when making dresses and simple A4 tracing paper just won't do it. I hate cutting up my patterns so its a great product for tracing. Wish more came in a packet

Good value, a bit too thick
I used this to trace a sewing pattern, but it is quite thick so difficult to make out the details of the original pattern. However, it's thickness means it's durable and doesn't rip. Good size sheets and good value for money.

I embroider NOT dressmake but was recommended to Purchase Dressmakers tracing paper. returning home and opening the package i was confused. Went to Google and realised that there are two sorts so this is useless to me

Very useful
Really useful for transfer when working with patterns, which are too fragile to be cut directly.
The only downside would be the fairly prominent creases on the sheets, but they can be worked around.

Not recommend for tracking paper patterns
I needed a pattern traced as I know I would use many times in different sizes but unfortunately this tracing paper is no go for my needs as it was to thick to see the pattern to trace

Ideal product for making master patterns
The sheets are an ideal size to trace over each large pattern piece to make a master pattern. It's best to iron the sheets flat first once you open them from the packet
