Fairly easy to use
I'm not completely sure that this product is suitable for the fabric I chose to use them on... I used these eyelets on jersey fabric, which were quite difficult because the fabric is so stretchy.
I tested this out on 100% cotton and it seemed to work quite well, I would recommend you have an extremely sturdy surface with nothing on it when you are hammering though. My kitchen side was not the most ideal place, but it got the job done. So as not to damage the side, I also used a wooden chopping board, and I'm glad I did given how much I needed to use the hammer! This is definitely not a job for first thing in the morning!
I did find that the eyelets sometimes slipped out of place, but that might be because of the stretchy fabric not making the initial hole properly.
All in all, not recommended for jersey fabric, other than that, this product seems pretty good for a starter kit.

Perfect
The whole kit comes with everything bar the hammer you need.
Works a dream as a set however be careful with the fabric you use, I attempted to use this for a hoodie I had cropped but the whole kept stretching and the eyelet would just fall out. Then I tried again on cotton and it worked a treat.
Otherwise, fantastic and good value for money.!

Useful for eyelets
This tool is easy to use with an easy how-to on the back which is very clear. Unfortunately, while using it as indicated, the tool has caused some damage to some of the other portions of the tool. This hasn't yet caused any issues accomplishing the task, but does concern me in terms of being able to make sure I can use this for years to come!

Product fine, packaging horrendous!
The eyelets were very easy to use and give a very neat finish. The pack they came in is another matter! You have to slide the top along the back, but this is so hard and awkward to push that the contents ended up on the floor. Good product but the packaging needs rethinking!

Not as good as previous ones
Have brought previous Hemline producets and other Hemline eyelets before however thies newer ones dont have the same quality as before.
Hemline is a repuptable brand however thies eyelets could be improved by better materials etc.

Weak metal
After making Three holes the eyelet metal hole punch base started to flatten and did not cut the material to make the holes.
I had to heat up a screwdriver to make the holes. Once they were made the rest worked perfectly.

Really good product!
Comes with everything you need in a really nice reusable package to store the pieces in. Make sure you give it a good hit with the hammer as I wasn't doing this hard enough to begin with, but then works perfectly.

Waste of money
As hard as I've tried this product does not work for me. The sharp edges cut through the material outside of the eyelet. I have used another brand that worked brilliantly, sorry I cannot recommend this product.

Great kit
We used these to hold wedding invitations together. We had punch’s hole first but then they worked perfectly. Unfortunately the second batch of rivets were a different size hence the 4 stars

Good quality, very reliable
Quality eyelets which were fine in cotton fabric, however did tear through rib stock nylon. Easier to fit eyelets with the hand punch.
