Disappointed
This was a Christmas gift for our 9 year old grandson but unfortunately with lots of guidance from grandad it was very difficult to use as the tightness on the thread kept sticking. They gave up and used the proper machine carefully because of little fingers. We took the Christmas gift to the charity shop the next day.

For small craft projects
Don’t waste your money
Tread keeps snapping and getting wrapped round the workings
Took it back after 3 weeks
As not in my eyes fit for purpose
Staff tried it and after couple of runs up and down fabric said it must be something I was doing wrong told them it’s as the machine is in use for longer than 5 mins but I brought the machine home and tried again different cottons fabric and well yet again the same problem SO please don’t waste your money

Needles continually break.
Just bought this today and already 2 needles are bent or broken just trying to sew a tent like material. Seems pretty crap. I’m going to look for stronger needles tomorrow otherwise it’s about as useful as a fart in a bottle.

Easy to use, sturdy machine at a bargain price
Bought this for my 8-year old Granddaughter. I was going to buy her a child's sewing machine but this machine was on the same shelf and only a few £s more. I am so glad I got it, it is very easy to set up and use. It feels sturdy and she likes the different stitches. I think this will last her quite a long time. She has repaired a stretchy fabric top for her Dad and made shorts and a top for her teddy. Her next task is making a patchwork quilt

Don't waste your time or money
I bought this yesterday. I've been sewing all my life. This machine is awful. Needles breaking, thread snapping. Gave up after 4 hours, thinking g I was doing something wrong. Did manage to stitch for about 3 cm but that's all. Really poor show. I know it's not expensive but come on Hobby craft... I thought I could rely on your products. Going to take it back tomorrow. Wish I had read the reviews first before I wasted my petrol 😒

Don't believe the instructions - it does work!
Having read the instructions which says you either run it on low/high without the foot pedal, or using the off setting with the foot pedal, I could not get it to work, so I swapped it for a second which gave the same trouble. This off/low/high switch seems a new addition to the product. You actually need to run it on low/high and use the foot pedal. It seems to run really nicely on a quick test.

Needle breaker from
Don't buy, needles keep breaking
Opened this yesterday and gone through 3 needles already, the needle is catching on the bobbin holder and you can't access it with undoing some screws, I have brought some more needles which don't fit the machine, a lot of these reviews are saying the needles are breaking so obviously a fault on the machine, wish I'd read the reviews before I brought it waste of money

Love this cutie .
Inspired me back to sewing .its small yet the stitches are perfect , it’s small, and light enough to travel with , I’m so happy as it half the size of most machines, I’m thrilled as I now have time for a hobby that I can create off the peg designs , love it .

Fabulous machine
This is a fabulous little sewing machine.
If you are teaching a child how to sew with a sewing machine you really do need to be an accomplished sewer yourself.
What I would change: the plastic spool pin is too short for a regular spool of thread.

Good little sewing machine.
Easy to use little sewing machine, bought for granddaughter aged 9 has been happily sewing with it. Has a lot of functions of a larger machine. Ideal for beginners.
