Difficult instructions
I bought this machine today online. Collected this morning. No one at store about to show me demo. I have tried to understand how to get it to simply sew. I've been a seamstress for over 55 years. This machine has completely beaten me. It won't sew any thing together! All I'm doing is getting thread caught up and getting frustrated. All I wanted was to sew a pair of curtains for my granddaughter for Fri for her birthday. My previous machine a necci over 40 yes old has just packed up. Hence buying this one. Seems £150 down the drain. Tried ringing store for help but Specialist isn't in until Thursday or Friday and I will be working then away... so thrawted at every turn.
Instructions are useless as is on line. Pictures difficult to follow. I've packed it up now having wasted 4 hours on it.

Disappointed
I used this machine for 20 minutes before it started snagging and sewing on the spot. It then began sewing in reverse despite the lever being up.
There are lots of flimsy plastic parts and it didn't give me a lot of faith in it lasting if I got a replacement!
I returned the faulty machine and got a refund.

Hobbycrafts sewing machine - ideal for beginners.
Very pleased with machine but wish Hobbycraft sold the accessories kit which is advertised in the instruction booklet. Would recommend machine for beginner

Excellent sewing machine
Was unsure on all the different settings as the machine was more advanced than my previous one but staff in the shop were of great help at explaining it all. Love my new machine. Would highly reccommend it.

Awful, cheaply made machine.
Bought this machine today and was really excited to get home and use it... I got back and it failed to set up, the bobbin kept getting jammed and after hours of watching tutorials and trying to get it to work I realised how cheaply made the machine is and how the quality of it is awful. Really disappointing experience, will be returning it asap.

Love it. I am a novice at sewing, wanted a reasonable priced one, but not too expensive with too many gadgets. This was in the sale when I bought it & for the amount I use it, it was ideal.
