I have been to Hobbycraft quite a lot lately after discovering their extensive range of wool. The prices are very reasonable and there are a lot of 3 for 2 offers. I will definitely go again when needing more. They seem to have everything you need there for every single hobby !

Good to knit with.
Feels good to knit with and seems to knit accurately to dk patterns. Each ball seems to have a short section of very thick yarn or a drastically different colour mixed in. These have to be cut away as they are very visible when knitted. Apart from that the knitting looks good.

Great product
I have recently started crocheting and made my first granny stitch blanket for my son. The marbling colour of this wool looks very effective and the wool itself feels lovely. I used 9 balls in total with white marbling to finish off around the edges. I would recommend.

Knitted nicely.
Only bought one ball but knits up really well . The colours are a good mix of greys, blues, a soft peach and creamy over thread to give a tweedy effect. Just need to ensure you don't split the yarn with needles when knitting. Overall very pleased with finished garment.

beautiful color, beautiful yarn
This yarn is lovely to crochet with,it is very good value for money and even more so now the offer 3 for 2 is on. I have made a long wrap with this and only needed 3 skeins. I would definately recommend this yarn. It also comes in other colors,which i have also bought.

To many ties.
Cant say I'm impressed with the amount of times the yarn was tied together. It makes my work look scruffy.
I had bought a ball from the same company from a different shop a while back and this also had at least 4 ties in it.
I will be avoiding the brand in future.

Lovely
This wool is great, it’s thicker than normal double knit and for me that’s a positive. I’ve used the yarn to make a hot water bottle cover and the finish is lovely and soft which is what you need, the self striping adds interest to any product you may make.

Knitted up so well
This wool was bought to match baby clothes. It was teamed up with mustard colour.
Knitted up beautifully and the sewn up garment turned out so soft and cosy. Made a welcome change for plain colour. I'll be back for other choices.

Very soft. Colours are vibrant enough from some beautiful stripes and they change subtly enough to avoid it being jarring. Easy to knit with and combine multiple balls of this without it being obvious where the join is.

Marble has a great feel!
Have knitted a snood and two hats in this yarn. It knits up beautifully and it would be difficult to tell the difference between this and wool when knitted in a textured pattern.
Would highly recommend.

Thought I'd try this wool to knit a double knit Guernsey pattern i had and I am not disappointed. It Knits up perfectly to the pattern with the correct tension and I love the colour change in the wool.

This is double knit wool bought to make husband gloves and scarf, it knits up very well and is thicker than usual Acrylic wool. The pattern is random and blends very well.

Lovely marble effect yarn
