Love the colour ways.
I loved the colour, and feel of the wool.I was using to knit squares for a baby blanket, and wanted it to be hard wearing but soft which it is.The only disappointment was the amount of joins in the wool which I was not expecting!... Even budget wools I have used previously did not have so many.

Lovely colours
Great yarn for crocheting a blanket. Some joins but not enough to spoil my work. Had some variation with thickness of yarn especially the orange but again, not often enough for me to worry about. May have been more important if I had been making a garment to wear. Generally pleased.

Such fun and funky wool
I absolutly adore the James C Brett Party Time Chunky Yarn range.
It is fun to knit with and the items I have created with it have turned what can be an average gift into someting fun and funky.
I am now addicted to buying it.

Chunky Rainbow Wool
I have recently come back to knitting and was attracted by the colours of this ball of wool. It knits really well and didn't cause this returning novice any problems

Very disappointed with this yarn
I bought 5 balls of this yarn to make a c2c blanket. Half way through the first ball of wool there were large sections of the yarn that hadn't been dyed correctly and were white in colour. The other balls were similar so I had to cut a lot of wool out to avoid the white sections. There was also a few knots in the balls where wool had been joined together. Feel disappointed as my end blanket isn't as good as what it should have been and feel like I've wasted time and money :-(

Knits beautifully
Love the colours. Easy to knit with. Bought 3 balls and knitted a jumper; hat and mittens for a 18/24 month old which surprised me.

Brilliant yarn for children's
Knitwear.
This yarn is lovely to knit with. I like the random yarns and jumpers can be completed without much effort but look amazing.

Lovely soft wool
Beautiful wool with a lovely softness, def not chunky though, more a dk/Aran. Looks a lot better knitted than crocheted

Every ball full of knots and breaks
In over 40 years of knitting, and lately, crocheting too, I have never had balls of yarn with so many breaks and knots in them. I bought 2 shades from this range, and from different dye lots, to make hats, scarves and wrist warmers, probably about 6 or 7 balls in total. Every single ball had at least 2 knots or partial breaks in the yarn, the last ball I used had 5 (and I only used half the ball). I have a ball and a half left - its going in the bin. Had I known before I started I would've taken the lot back, but at first I thought it was just bad luck, by the time I got to realise they were all like it, it was too late to take the remaining ones back. I don't think I have ever bought Janes Brett yarns in the past - suffice to say I certainly wont again. Given 1 star only because system wont allow nil stars. .

Great quality
I bought Thai rainbow yarn from hobbycraft for my birthday where i had my 15% off voucher so had it even cheaper and so far I've made 6 little monsters for my children and they love it and of I'm ever stuck finding something in store or imnunsure about anything the staff I spoke to were amazingnof they didn't know they find someone who did. The yarn was very soft and easy to work with and the also do it is various shades of rainbow colours

Soft wool but watch your colour requirements
I bought this wool on a whim as liked the colours - I then proceeded to make a shawl with it. I was disappointed to note there was no purple shade in it except where red and blue briefly mixed, and there’s a high percentage of green and orange. Note to self - get rainbow colours next time! However it is a soft wool and nice and bright and the person I’m making it for will like it’s brightness!

Perfectly appropriate
I have recently taken up knitting and I wanted to try something bold for the winter so i picked 3 balls of this yarn to knit a scarf. I have just got through the first ball and it has been really lovely to use. It has come out lovely and is turning out just as i wanted. I would recommend this wool to anyone wanting to create something bright and cheery.

Lovely colours but inconsistent quality.
I am using this to crochet a blanket. The first ball was great, as is the third ball and both have worked up really well. The second ball was a different matter - it was mostly split and had some small knots in it. All balls are from the same batch. The colours are bright and vibrant but my blanket is still work in progress so I haven’t washed it yet.

Fantastic adaptability
This yarn is certainly my pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. My granddaughter asked for a pair of rainbow slippers and this Party Time chunky ticked all the boxes for that difficult request, rainbow colours, soft, comfy and very warm. This yarn is so easy to work with and so versatile.Excellent product. I have more requests for rainbow slippers!

Bright, snuggly and perfect for children’s knits
I purchased this yarn for a hat and scarf for my son, he’s requested a rainbow hat for this winter, it’s chunky so crocheted quickly making a hat in a couple of hours, it was easy to work with, and the final result is beautiful... we’ve had lots of complements on the finished project so Much so I’ve made a further 3 hats for friends and relatives

Chunky
Picked this yarn up be sure of the bright colours thought it would make a something for my young granddaughter. When I got to use it I realised it wasn't double knit but chunky. Well down to Hobby Craft for a pattern as I only have double knit pattern's. Result a beautiful multi coloured jacket. Lovely. (WON'T LOOSE HER IN A CROWD)

Nice to work with
The colours are joyfully vibrant and the yarn is nice to work with. It rarely splits and when it does it's minimal and easy to rectify with no visible snags. It's a perhaps not as soft as some acrylic yarns, but it might well soften after washing, and even if it doesn't it isn't uncomfortably rough or coarse. Overall a nice yarn.

Oh so colourful!
Bought this to make up a crochet blanket for my nephew for a gift!
So easy to work with and bright and colourful without pink in it which is great and hard to find!
I’m on ball 6 in the blanket now and love this wool so much I went back for another 4 balls to make the blanket bigger as the colours are fab!

Fun and colourful
I bought this wool to knit a scarf for my son though I'm thinking I could do a blanket too! I love the colours and it's bright and cheerful for winter! I've added navy blue at the start of the scarf which adds a depth and makes it even more beautiful. I'm definitely going to buy more and knit a blanket next.
