Great material but a bit finicky
The yarn is very soft and is good for whether you want to make amigurumi or clothes. It is a big fiddly as if you pull the end a little but, the polyester fluff comes off the string which is a big irritating, but overall, easy to use. Would recommend to buy online as when I bought the one in store, the yarn was stored in a way that made it kinda tangled so had to dig in the back of the shelf to find one that didn't seem like it was less than 100g or tangled.

Disappointed
I have never given a completely negative review about anything I have bought in the past from anywhere. I always try to find a positive but on this occasion other than reporting that the yarn is very soft, I found it very difficult to work with and did not like the fact that fibres came away very easily. I would not use this yarn again under any circumstances.

First time I've used a yarn like this ....its super fluffy not alot of stretch which is good stitches hold together nicely when crocheting...hook slides through previous rounds, my only criticism is the range very much for baby blankets but would be nice to have a variety of less pastel colours for toys or even home furnishings

This wool is so very lovely and soft and easy to work with i would recommend to buy this if making a lovely babies chunky blanket which I did using a 8 crochey hook. I would recommend it and I certainly going to buy again in a different colour. This time I used the white and so happy with the way my crochet blanket turned out.

Lovely to work with with a beautiful soft finish.
I have used this product on a loom to make a lovely lightweight bath mat. I have also used it to crochet a harlequin stitch baby blanket in stripes of blue, grey and white. My current project is a corner to corner stitch baby blanket and I am delighted with the way the texture of the stitches stands out. Beautiful wool.

I have brought many colours of this yarn and it's lovely to work with and everyone loves the feel of blankets, to an extend I've had to make many more!! Only grip is I purchased the pink mixed colour and it was a lot thinner than the plain colours I was using with it but overall I would definitely recommend it

Soft but difficult
This yarn is lovely and soft but it is really difficult to work with. I used it for crochet and it just fell apart at the end when trying to start a chain and if I had to undo anything the yarn was bald on the stitches I’d removed, it may be better for knitting. Also be prepared for fluff to be everywhere!

Beautifully soft and snuggly
Well I’m on my fifth baby blanket with this wool. It’s very easy to work with and makes the most beautiful baby blankets. I’ve also made a baby all-in-one and baby slippers with this yarn. Your work grows quickly so nice for novice knitters to use so they don’t get bored!!

At first i thought lovely soft wool, until i started knitting ' half way through the wool was stained and part of wool was missing which left bare thread' also nearly broken in parts, i was very disappointed, this was a blanket for my grandchild due very soon.

Would recommend this to anyone
I bought this for a stuffed toy I was crocheting. It’s very soft and worked perfectly. I like using these types of yarn for crochet, although I do think it takes practice as the loops are much less visible as it’s so fluffy, so perhaps not for a very beginner.

Beautiful but messy
It’s so super soft to work with and creates some amazing projects. However, can be tricky to work with especially if you have never worked with this type of yarn before. Also, it is very prone to fraying at edges so be prepared for a messy craft area.

Not fit for purpose
This feels soft and cuddly but when started knitting with it it became stringy & bits kept coming off! Very disappointing as dangerous fir babies! I bought 2 balls, returned the one I hadn’t started. Will not be buying again and do not recommend!

Use for familiar patterns
The feel of the wool is amazing but if you make a mistake and have to undo something it does not hold up well. Bits of fluff fall off and show the string so you end up with bald patches. Good if its a familiar pattern and you dont make mistakes.

Soft and easy to use
I used this to crochet an Amigurumi stuffed cat toy. It was ok to use but if I needed to undo some stitches it did lose some fur on the yarn leaving some bald patches.
However overall it was a lovely finish and would use again.

Lovely soft wool for baby knitting
This flutterbye wool is lovely and soft for baby use. Have made nice blankets using crochet and have knitted one as well. Everyone who saw them remarked how nice and soft they were. Even better was buy 2 get one free. Big saving.

Fantastic bag. Very versatile.
Bought a sewing machine bag for my elderly mum . She loved the design and pattern of the Robins that cover the bag.
She is going to use it for knitting. She is able to unzip the sides to see clearly what she is looking for.

Made a perfect giant cobweb
This yarn is VERY soft and strong and really white. It was perfect for my need. I wove a giant cobweb for my scarecrow incy wincy spider in our scarecrow festival. Survived dry and clean for a whole week of rain and gales.

Super soft!
Have used flutterby yarn a few times to make baby blankets, and my friends still use the blankets all the time, as they are so soft and kind on babys skin. Thoroughly recommend if you want to make that special blanket!

This wool is very soft and smooth to use when crocheting. I have found that the ends of the wool lose its fluff, however knotting each end when starting and tying off, prevents further fray. Excellent wool to use!

Softest wool
