Very good value hamper basket
Bought this to house lovely foodie items as part of my son’s birthday present. Looked perfect with yummy items such as really good extra virgin olive oil, aged balsamic vinegar, pomegranate molasses etc.
It looked wonderful and really effective and he was delighted with it. Great value as only £10.
We went to collect from Tunbridge Wells branch and we were very impressed with the shop as a whole. We bought a few things for our 2 year old granddaughter and can’t wait for her to get a bit older as the various craft items look great. A real Aladdin’s cage!!

Managed to snap these up on a deal so bought 12 for Christmas hampers, they are sturdy and nice quality and the leather straps are a nice touch. I would say they’re quite pricey at full price but when you shop around that just seems to be the going rate for wicker baskets so they’re no more expensive than anywhere else. They are going to add a luxury feel to my Christmas hampers so I’m very happy with them!

You get what you pay for
I needed a couple of different sized hampers for raffle prizes and the hobbycraft ones fit the bill. They were half price and so as they’re just intended as a “pretty” box for a present I can over look that they are cheaply made and slightly off square. I don’t think they’d last too long if regularly used as a storage basket and the fasteners are a bit fiddly, but perfect for a one off presentation piece.

A versatile box
I bought two of these hampers for my son and daughters families. The christmas material was used to line the box and make placemats on which the hampers sat.
The hampers were filled with fruit both familier and a some as an introduction.
We will let you know which fruit were most popular and maybe some new recipies for next Christmas. Happy healthy New Year

Splendid Basket
Cant wait to fill my basket with lots of Christmas goodies for my daughter, it’s ideal for packaging some small stocking fillers together with red tissue paper inside the basket to keep the items in place, a big red Xmas bow will make it look wonderful, I am sure my daughter will love it.

This product was perfect!
Excellent choice of sizes was perfect for my first attempt at doing Xmas Hampers for friends and family. Would definitely recommend this product to everyone plus added bonus, can reuse for other purposes when empty such as pick-nick basket or storage.

Useful hamper
It’s fairly sturdy, more sturdy than I had thought it would be for the price.. I packed it up with bottles and jars (I.e. quite heavy stuff) as a raffle prize and it looks really good, it has a natural finish which makes it versatile.

Poor Quality
I ordered several items from different sources online. This closed style hamper is not worth £10 paid. It is thin, quite rickety and poorly finished with sharp pieces of wicker poking out. I would not purchase this item again.

Style over substance but decent value
I bought this to put small gifts in for my wife on her birthday.
It looks good but is a bit flimsy, but for the price, perfectly serviceable....just don’t tie it to your MG for a summer picnic

Don't waste your money
Flimsy, tatty and totally unsuitable for creating a little food hamper. I thought that the price was guaranteeing a well-made product, so I bought four. One was snapped on delivery, despite coming with a mass of packaging in a ridiculously large box that I couldn't even manoevre into the house. The air-filled plastic sausage packaging actually filled a building materials bag, and took me an hour to snip to get the air out for recycling, which didn't hep my reaction to the product.

Poorly finished and not robust.
The basket has lots of sharp pieces of wood on the inside. The lid is poorly fitting and does not fit the base. This is not really fit for purpose.

Very disappointed
A couple of years ago I bought a small and medium basket and wanted a large one to complete the set. However the first ones were tightly woven with a slight sheen to the finish and were of good quality. This latest one is quite honestly very poor. The lid doesn't fit, the wicker is of a much lower standard and I have already almost put my fingers through the sides. There is no way I can stack it with the others as it is nothing like the originals.

Good for the sale price
I recently purchased 2 of these baskets online and collected in store.
I bought them to fill and give as gifts for Mothers Day.
I paid the sale price, so I’m happy but if I’d have paid full price I think I’d have been disappointed.
The baskets are lighter than I expected on collection, and have many slight imperfections (adds to character of baskets but not good if you have OCD!)
Overall happy with my purchase :)

All goods are great value.
Purchased to use for my four year old Granddaughter to keep the doll's clothes I am making her in. It's light enough for her to carry around, and suitably sized to store the clothes without them getting creased. Her 5th birthday is not until August, but I intend to fill the hamper with doll's clothes for her....Thank you for having such good knitting wools (& patterns) also fabric and paper patterns.

Perfect for a home made Christmas hamper
I was looking for a sturdy but cheapish hamper to make a home made Christmas Hamper and after striking out everywhere, I tried Hobbycraft. I was delighted to find the exact basket I was looking for (with lid) and it was on sale! Sturdy, good looking and had a lid with straps to keep it closed when the contents had been consumed!
The finished hamper looked great and was a great gift.

Disappointed
Very disappointed with this item as it’s not finished properly on the side and it has wicker bits sticking out that are sharp.
Wanted to return it via the website/ post off and there is nowhere on the returns form to click to send it back so I’m stuck with something I can’t use and can’t get my money back unless I make a special trip 25 minutes each way to try it !!

Great for hampers
This product is a great size and sturdy, we used it for our in laws Christmas gift. We also bought straw and dried cinnamon and clementines, to decorate inside and then filled with goodies. The leather straps are excellent quality and the price was excellent, it was actually reduced in store but to be honest, I was so pleased with it, it was well worth full price.

Luxury quality Baskets!
The baskets I bought were very sturdy and many items I purchased for a special occasion gift for my friend fitted in there. The weaving of the basket was of such quality that it flexed with the weight of the contents and not snapped in stress places. It looks fantastic and I love the fact that it wasn’t so expensive! I will buy again, excellent product.
