Perfect for way I needed
Walked into hobby craft and there was an abundance of variety but this book box was perfect nice size and lots of bits to stick on and decorate my sister was very happy with here present the lady was very helpful and knowledgeable and helped me pic the right paint and brushes for my intended result

Great idea, but don't retain shape well
I bought these for my (teenage) children to decorate. Maybe they were too generous on the adhesive they used, but I notice that the shape of the boxes have ended up becoming quite warped, which is a pity. A great idea though, and my children certainly had fun decoration them.

Perfect for purpose
I’ve painted these the colour of countries flags and stored holiday mementos and photos in them, they look fantastic but the only issue I had was some of the stickers did not come off very easily and gave damaged the backs of the books

Pretty much what I expected
This book-box is ok. It looks just like it does online but in the flesh feels a little flimsy and where it opens, the 'seam' is crinkled and looks like it wont last long (ie. the lid will eventually rip off if not covered/glued).

Amazing value
I was worried that these books would be a bit rough and ready, but not at all. They are finished well with good detail and ready to decorate. I have covered one already in faux leather and it looks great. Would highly recommend.

Complete rubbish
I wanted to make a faux book and intended to 'age' it. I used acrylic paints but the quality of the book was so poor it just drank the paint and ended up warping. I'll not use mache products again

Just what i needed
Im making a present and this is what i needed. I personalised the book and then could put small presents inside. In hindsight should have bought the bigger one but this one is still ok

Perfect!!
Used this book to jazz up and surprise my daughter with Harry Potter tickets to the studios in London. Perfect fit and a good sturdy book that could be used again in future crafts.

Nicely made
Covered mine with a beautiful wrapping paper centering the designs to make the book look like an antique book. Used metallic pens to create highlights. Looks really good

This product was great
The Book was great and was easy to paint on and looks amazing but there was i tiny rip in the paper but i was able to cover that up so it now looks amazing.
