Quick fix
These little stud fasteners are great for a quick mend to replace a button or in place of a button hole and button.
The instructions need to be clearer as I wasted three of them trying to figure out which way up the pieces needed to be.
Overall. They did a good job for what I needed but would invest in a bulk buy as these small packs are expensive for what they are.

Works perfectly no tools required form fabric
Perfect. Like other reviewers I did mess up a whole pack despite reading the instructions several times and practising on some rag:- even my local Taylor did the same. The hole punch works flawlessly just remember to add the bit that does into the male stud and hammer it down in the right order, I used my studs on a Giribaldi motorcycle helmet rubbery Oxford street mask strap to strap my mask down when not using it in my open face helmet ⛑️, I even fitted one the wrong way wrong and damaged the fabric getting them off. I really think these and the tool are the best. When using thicker material like say canvass or leather I am not sure how effective or the blows with a hammer with the punch you would need but the press works flawlessly no need for tools and an outstanding service from hobby craft as always.
My only suggestion would be to maybe make the instructions a little more clearer and stating clearly somewhere no tools required for fabric or something like that

Waste of money
I really wish I’d never seen these. Impulse buy and wouldn’t have bought if I’d read the reviews. The top stud went in perfectly but the lower stud wouldn’t clip together even with no material in between. Tried hammering and the prongs just folded over. Ended up having to throw the whole thing away.

Look amazing ...no instructions
These look amazing and, although all the equipment is provided, there are no instructions on how to use it. I am down two buttons already and still not perfected how to do it. Very remiss I think. I am sure its not difficult so, You Tube here I come! Exclusion of a simple piece of paper is very poor.

Too difficult to use
This product has not been successful for me. It is too difficult to use, the snaps do not stay put and the instructions are not clear enough.
I intend returning it to the store for someone to show me how to use it and if that’s not successful shall ask for a refund.

Didn’t fit my Prym pliers
No problem with the product itself except I thought the fasteners would work with the Prym pliers I have, so disappointed I can’t use them. The plastic tool supplied needs a lot more strength and dexterity than I possess

Good for thin items. Not as heavy duty as I had hoped.
Good value for money for beginners. The clasps aren't very strong and if on too thick of a material they come loose with little force. That being said they would likely be good for a thinner material.

What an absolute waste of money
DONT buy they are rubbish

Not very good did as it stated on pack didn't stay in fabric just pulled off so no good as I was going to use them on some thing for my granddaughter but not safe wouldn't recommend them

Don't Buy These! Milward Press Fasteners
Terrible product with ridiculously complicated instructions. When you finally figure it out the product doesn't work and the sharp teeth poke through the fabric.
