Useful little trolley top - shame it doesn't clip in.
Great price for the little trolley top work surface which fits on the 3 tier trolley. Really useful however I do wish it clipped in more securely somehow as it wiggles a bit. Still, great price and useful product. Thanks again Hobbycraft!

This is a great help as it fits snugly and give you a way to keep everything covered up away from little fingers. It also somewhere to put items ( hot drink) while working on different craft or sewing projects. I love it

Good product
I needed just one more topper to complete the set of 3. My trolley now looks neat and tidy.
As I purchased in store I asked a helpful assistant to open the box to check that the topper was in perfect condition. I had, on another occasion, purchased a topper and on return home, found that the topper was damaged by chipped areas on the edge and I had to return it to the store for a replacement. I think it is worth examining a topper at the point of purchase if you are buying from a store rather than online.
Pleased with this purchase.

Excellent quality
I bought the topper for the trolley and must admit it's a must. You keep your arts items far from the dust and moreover top can be used for a temporary shelf.

Simply works
A very simple product that does exactly what it is designed to do. It is not a tight fit to the top but neither is it very wobbly, easy to put on and take off.

A super useful addition
I have two of the delightful trolleys for work in progress and find them extremely useful for moving things to where I can get at them in an overcrowded workspace, so I thought I'd get the toppers to protect my work from dust. They have turned out to be even more useful, providing an additional flat surface for me to use. In fact I'm thinking of buying more to use as lids for the lower trays as well, as I hadn't realised they would fit.

Great quality small price
Well I bought this expecting a cheap thin metal lid but no it's a good sturdy wooden lid and I didn't think it would fit on the other shelves due to the trolley design but they do so will be going back ❤️

Nice Addition to Three Tier Tolley
This is a great addition to Hobbycraft's three tier trolley. Not only does it protect the contents of the drawers but it also provides a working surface. Simple but effective!

Great accessory
At first I thought this was a flexible lid (like you would have on a lunchbox) but it is a solid piece of mdf(?) with pegs underneath to stop it sliding off of the trolley. Really handy if you need extra space on top to store a die cutting machine or a Cricut press etc.

Slides about a bit
Been contemplating these for a while, so bought two. Although works well on top of the trolley they do slip about if knocked, feel the corner stops could be a bit bigger to hold it in place. That said it does the job of giving a top to stand my sewing chart and coffee on and hiding the crafting bits I’m not using underneath.

Great as a work top and to keep the dust off your work in the trolley but I would have preferred there to be some rubber feet to hold it on and available in other colours to match the trolley.

Great idea, but doesn't fit that well
It is handy to have this topper for the top tray of the storage trolley, but it doesn't fit in that securely and moves about quite a bit when placed on top of the trolley. I thought it may make a useful extra work surface, but it moves about too much really for that. Handy to put things on, but not great to actually do things on top of. Fit could definitely be improved and am looking at modifications for mine.

Makes the set even more aesthetically pleasing!
Bought the trolley, accessories pack, and this topper.
Topper isnt secure if using the accessories pack on only one side, due to not sitting flush with the extra bars it is held on with.
But, it does still fit on.
It covers up all the baking nozzles and spoons, etc in my top tray, so it makes everything seem tidier.
It's strong. Wooden. Will buy again for more craft storage!

The topper fits on the trolley so acts as a cover and work surface.

I. Always thought a Lid would be a good idea
I always thought a Lid would be a Good Idea and they are super , as long as you don’t lean on them too heavily you can work off theTrolley . I love mine because it stops the Cat pulling wool out of the Top layer , They are easy to wipe down and I highly recommend them for keeping contents clean . Well worth the price too 5*

Nice flat top
Purchased to go with a trolley on here. It is sufficient to do the intended job. But is basically a very nicely finished piece of mdf with some bits stuck on to keep it in place. Not seen them anywhere else. It's nice to have the option of a flat top whilst still getting use of the shelf for storage.

The topper is a bit of white MDF. Nothing special, but it makes the top of the trolly a flat surface which is handy. It doesn't fit very snug, so does slip around a bit, but nothing major. Mine was also a little stained, but I've covered it to fit my style so it wasn't a problem.

Really nice quality
I was expecting this to be a plasticky wood effect top, but was delighted to find it is actually wood (on the top at least). Looks really nice on my trolley and I have stencilled a design in acrylic paint with my Cricut machine, so looks even more pretty now.

Look tidy!
They help make an untidy trolley tray look tidy! Let's just say they can cover a multitude of sins! Also for the crafty crafters among you don't forget that being white MDF they lend themselves very well to being decorated - painted, decoupage etc

Great idea, but damaged
Unfortunately product was chipped when I unboxed it. Luckily a printer will be covering the chip so I didn’t think the hassle was worth replacing it. Just maybe check before leaving the store if you are going to have it on show

Product finishes trolley off well
I had to return the my original purchase as there was a slight chip on edge of lid. I was also a bit disappointed with the left over glue marks on it. On checking three lids in shop all had glue stains I took the best one.

Perfect
Does exactly what it says on the box - I keep a tray of pencils in the top section of my trolley and use the topper to cover them and use as an extra table surface when painting to keep my paint, water and brushes

Turns my trolley into a great table
The trolley I bought originally is so useful, but this top turns it into a table. It is just a perfect height so I can keep my craft products in the trolley and work with them on the table top
