Not as Easy as it Looks
After four attempts we were producing a plastic balloon to play with, but it has a very short life.
To be honest my grandson played for over an hour with all the broken ones (when squished together it is like colourful blutack.
He thought it was great fun to stick it on the back rail of his wooden chair and see how many different random items he was able to seemingly balance (stick) there.
Each time we expressed our amazement that there was something unexplained balanced there!

Poor
Impossible to make anything that resembles a balloon. The shapes we did create burst within seconds. Very messy, far too difficult & wouldn’t recommend.

Not the best - balloons deflated very quickly
It was very difficult to remove the balloon off the stick without it deflating. My son became very frustrated with it, as did I. Don't wast your money.

Hours of fun!
My son couldn’t get enough of these balloons. Only problem is it was impossible to remove them from the blower without popping them.

Small item but great fun!
I played with this when I was a child about 60 years ago. No batteries needed, so no running cost after purchase! An inexpensive gift for a child without their parents having to fork out money, themselves. Children AND adults have buckets of fun bouncing/kicking the balloons around indoors and outdoors without worrying that they might knock something over. An extra different colour blow tube would be great, so the adult can demonstrate how to make the balloons.

Disappointing!
I remember these kits as a child and loved them, so was excited when my son saw this at the check out. It wasn’t as I remembered at all. First, you need a decent amount of mixture from the tube to create a decent size balloon. But once you’re happy and start twisting to close the hole, it very easily breaks and creates further holes. I think we ended up using half the tube and only created two balloons, which didn’t last long. Very disappointing!

Absolut rubbish!
5 years old review: 'it's rubbish!'
Mum's review: my daughter wanted to buy this with some money she'd earned. What a waste of money! She wouldn't blow up the goo. When I did it the 'balloons just popped when trying to remove from the blower stick and the odd few I did manage to get off deflated in her hands immediately! Very disappointed child as she was excited for it to work like on the video display. They should stop selling this.

This product was hours of fun
The plastic bubble maker is an amazing product because it was enjoyable to use . The package was bright, bold and colourful which drew me to the product .Also, there is plenty of the product for the amount of money I paid .Once I used the product the bubbles lasted around five minutes each bubble and after I had read the instructions it was easy to make the bubbles .I would definitely recommend and buy this product again.

Total fail of a product
I bought spontaneously.
I was disappointed that the product did not perform as per the Telemarketing video in store.
It seems an inferior product to the other blow balloons elsewhere.
It was not fit for purpose.
After failing numerous times I read the reviews and most people find it rubbish.
There is even a you tube video demonstrating it failing. AVOID!
Please stop selling it Hobbycraft.

Really disappointing- avoid
I bought these as a birthday party favour and they were a complete waste of money. Watching the instore video made the product look great but really it doesn’t work well, is fiddly for little reward and no one managed one of the great big balloons they feature. The product isn’t as sturdy as advertised. Just disappointing.

Fun and not too messy at all!
Ok so when we first saw this my brain was like ‘oh no’ looks even more messy than usual but my son chose it and away we went. It is actually not too messy at all and quite a bit of fun. He has been making balloons, animals and all sorts and it isn't sticky once it’s blown up. Squashed up and can be disposed of easily.

Regular bubbles are majestic! These are not.
this can make nice large shape-able bubbles if you get it to work. putting the goop on the tube is fine, blowing and shaping is easy, twisting to seal the end rips easily, rather tricky.
The thing I hate: if it gets onto certain surfaces / materials it is very difficult to remove, sometimes impossible...

Kids loved it
Bought this for my 3 yr old nephew. My 7 yr old niece had fun with this too. Needs adult supervision to make the balloons. The balloons are very delicate once made but the kids seem to like seeing how long they could make them last before they got a hole in them and went down. Laughs and fun all round.

Hobby craft is my favourite shop ever I would love everything inside my balloon making kit is very fun and creative. I love hobby craft it is just such a great place and my plastic balloon making kit was really fun I would love to win the gift card as I would like everything that u find in hobby craft

Very disappointing
Granddaughter is 12 and we got one after we did wreath workshop. unfortunately we struggled blowing bubbles up we both tried then they popped as son as we took them off. My children had them when they were small and loved them, but unfortunately we didn’t get in with these ones ended up being binned

Very disappointed
My twins seen the video in your shop so we bought two. They really wanted to make a bear. You lucky to make a small balloon. No way you could make a bear. My two 7 yeár old twins were both very sad and dissapointed. They both said it is very sad that is not at all as in the video we have seen.

Not quite as easy as it looks
The balloon maker wasn't the easiest thing to do but it was good fun, we have a 5 yr old and a10yr old it was easier for the eldest but when I tried my hands seemed to be too big so as soon as I had a balloon I popped it, one good thing is it doesn't stick to carpets or upholstery

Bright and fun
This product is definitely worth the Value, it’s fun and exciting and will definitely keep your children entertained for hours all different colours are available which is even better for people who like to be creative im pleased with this product and so will many others.

Good fun to use but short lived
My 9 years old loved this product as they could do it themselves and get all sticky but the balloons don't last long and it ends up in the bin. The fun is a bit short lived as the balloons just collapsed after handling. I don't imagine it is environmentally friendly.

Very disappointing product
This product was a total waste of money and a great disappointment. It was extremely difficult to make bubbles and most were uneven and popped before reaching cherry-like size. The product was sticky and it was very hard to blow. Will definitely not buy this again.

Awful purchase
This product was a complete waste of money and very disappointing for my children. It was frustrating for them and they couldn't get any balloon to last. We did not get anything that resembled the televised advert in the shop. I would not recommend this product.

useless piece of rubbish
This does not do what it says it will do,when you try to remove the bubble from the plastic tube it sticks to itself and you can't rescue it so have to just throw it in the bin. The whole packet is now in the bin. not great for the environment. not recommended

Need a lot of puff
Get ready for a lot of huffing and puffing with this one. My 5 year old cousin gave up, so i had to attempt to make a balloon for him. Its quite hard to say the least but i did get one, which reatained its shape well. But i only got one out of many attmepts.

Poor product. Not safe for kids to use alone
This didn't really do what it said it would. No big bubbles and often no bubbles at all. Can't see how you could actually make any shapes with it.
Only fun was my grandkids watching me go red in face as I tried to blow the bubbles. Total waste of money

Incorrect Advertising
This product certainly doesn't work how the advertising video indicates. We have tried many times to get the plastic bubble off the stick but each time the bubble deflated. My daughter is very sad that it doesn't work how she saw on the video in the shop

This balloon making kit was really quite poor. Following instructions easy but the product doesn't really work. Ultra thin balloon produced that bursts on contact with anything, including fingers when trying to remove from inflator. Wouldn't buy again.
