Fantastic Time Saver
Being someone who decorates cakes a lot as part of my business and someone who hand makes all decorations I find renishaws flower paste to be an absolute life saver. The paste is easy to use not too sticky and drys exceptionally quickly giving me more time to do other things. It also allows for making very intricate and edible cake decorations which are much sturdier than sugar paste ones (even with CMC added). Hobbycraft stock various colours too but I use the white mainly as it can be coloured to your needs. Great product.

Very pleased
I bought this product to make a tiara for a cake I'm making for an 18th Birthday. I made it from scratch and I have to say it has turned out really well. Really pleased with this product. Once it's dried it's rock hard so will last for as long as you need it to. You can touch it without worrying what you have moulded will break. Will buy again.

Fantastic sugar paste for flowers, better than other leading brands
I purchased this as an emergency when making sugar flowers for my parents' ruby wedding cake. I normally make my own gumpaste as I have been disappointed using other leading brands. I have to say, this paste was the best I have used and made me consider whether I would go through the hassle of making my own paste again next time. It is ready to use straight out the pack with very little time needed to condition it. There was also enough time to work with the paste before it began to set. Will definitely purchase again

Great for modelling but must be kept warm
This products is great for making decorations of all kinds but I did find it needed to be worked in my hands and kept warm to prevent it cracking and going too hard but still an excellent prouduct that I love to use. And the white is also really easy to colour by just kneading the colour into it!

Very easy to work with
This is great to work with, it is easy to shape and very good at being able to be made very thin and keeping its shape. Also when it starts to harden in the air, it doesn’t take too much kneading to get it back to a manageable state.

Brilliant item
Always works. Never has let me down items have hardened within a day. I used another one for a while which didn’t harden as quick. So gone back to this one now and will always use this flower paste

This product is good to work with for models on cakes
I used this to make edible grenades for a cake i made for a customer, the reason i used modelling paste is it hardens more and won't lose its shape as its drying as its firmer to begin with.

This is great for making flowers and other decorative items to go on your cakes. I’ve tried some more expensive specialist gum paste in the past and there really wasn’t a lot of difference!

Not for professional use
I was looking for florist paste (gumpaste/flower paste) to finish off a project and since this was next to ordinary Renshaw sugar paste hoped this was the right thing - but it was immediately apparent on opening that this is practically the same as sugar paste, although it does dry a little firmer. It may be useful for novelty modelling (as is sugar paste or even marzipan!) but it's certainly not the right thing for fine flower use. Very disappointed!!!

This product dries fast but is brittle
The moldeling paste dries fast so when make flowers for cakes it's great it means more can be don in a shorter him frame however no matter how think you make your flowers they are quite brittle instead of the rock solid and quite sturdy texture and finish you get with gum paste. I would use this product again but if it was a choice gum paste would always take my first pick.

Good quality, good value
The modelling paste was good quality, it was easy to handle and shape and it tasted great. I was pleasantly surprised by how far it stretches - I have loads left but since it's full of sugar I'll be able to keep it and use it again a few times! And given how much there is in a pack and for such a good price, it makes cake decorating affordable even for a student.

It does the job but hard to work with
I used this to model small cats and a figure and it isn’t very pliable, or stretchy and dries out so quick. Where you have curves or bends it shows little stress cracks. But I make cakes to sell so i’d Want it to be perfect. For hobby cakes or for family and friends you wouldn’t need the perfection. And it sets hard and keeps the shape you made

Great
I used this to make some roses for a cake decoration.Once you get the hang of using it i.e warm in the hands and knead well before use, only take out the amount you need and keep the rest in a sealed food bag to avoid drying out.A good tip is add a little Trex if needed.I like to get white to colour myself. I wouldn't use anything else.

I found it easy to use and made snow flakes
Snow balls and a large standing number 5 for my grand daughters cake. Left to set over 24hrs...... brilliant just the job
Delivery was excellent. Ordered on the Friday. Bank holiday weekend delivery was the Tuesday

I didn't know how to use this product. It was so hard to use. Half of it went in the bin until I figured it out on YouTube. Please advise Wilton to put instructions on the packaging.

Great product, it goes a bit sticky when you colour it at first but dries fairly quickly and is then easier to work. I used it to make something bigger than a flower (the neck bit of a triceratops) and found that when rolled out thicker and wavy it started to crack as it dried. I cut it smaller and it was totally fine.

I’m almost always able to find what I need at Hobbycraft - on this occasion I had popped in to get sugar paste for decorating my Christmas cake; I noticed there was a good choice of cake boards so bought one of those - then saw the gift wrap which always has a good selection of designs so stocked up on that too!

Renshaw - Simply the BEST!
I used Renshaw Flower and Modelling Paste to make a special cake topper for Therapet Charity’s 35th Anniversary Celebration Award Lunch being held on November 26th this year.
The modelling paste was wonderful to work with, producing excellent results - drying in good time too. I’ll definitely be using it again!

I love renshaws modelling paste , it is easy to use and not too sticky if you add colour to it . I have been making sugar paste models now for over 20 years and wouldn’t use anything else . Renshaws also do coloured sugar paste , that’s really convenient with lots of choice of colours , would totally recommend

Great product
I really like Renshaws fondant but i’d Never used the flower paste until recently. It’s good value for money and is great to use. You can mix it half and half with sugar paste and make it stretch a bit longer and be slightly more edible for smaller models or use as it is for flowers that will last for years.

I love this product It is so easy to use and you can mix it with a little of the normal fondant to make it go that little bit further. Fantastic for flowers and any other type of modeling especially people. Do make sure any left over is very tightly wrapped up and sealed away to stop it drying out.

Great for intricate details and model making
Ive been making cakes since 2013. Lovely product to work with. Made rounded leaves with a curve and they held up brilliantly. Made animal models mixing a little normal icing and the flower paste results were excellent. Takes colour gel really well. Best of all tastes good too :)

Great for decorations
I needed to make some decorations for a wedding cake and wondered if there was much difference between this and rolled icing. It's a firmer consistancy then rolled icing therefore it holds the shape perfectly & dries quicker. I would use again for detailed work.
