Commissioned into the US Navy in 1942 and probably the most famous motor torpedo boat of the Pacific war during WWII, PT-109 was briefly commanded by the later US President, John F. Kennedy. Revell’s kit features a detailed superstructure, cabin interiors, four 21-inch torpedo tubes, 20mm cannon, two twinmounted M2 .50 cal machine guns and a field-mounted 37mm anti-tank gun on the foredeck.
