This easel box is well made and holds a box canvas easily and securely. The material is strong, not really lightweight but this helps stabilise the easel which is what I needed. I use it in a small area where other easels slip and slide.
A drawback is the depth of the shelf holding the canvas, it hides a good inch of the canvas, a problem easily overcome though.

An excellent addition to my art kit
I love this box. Nice and compact yet very versatile. I agree with the other reviews that the inserts need to be deep enough to fit the box including the lid, otherwise moving it around by the handle means a jumbled mess inside. There are slots in the inside of the lid to accommodate deeper inserts, so I can't see why deeper inserts haven't been provided. Otherwise a good piece of kit.

Great table-top art box & easel
This is a super quality small box which can also be used as an easel to sit on a table top. It is well made and sturdy for such a small item and easily holds large canvas as well as small. I am very impressed with the cheap price for such a quality piece.

Great storage and easel
Wanted a small easel for learning to paint. This does the job brilliantly and has the bonus of storing my paints , brushes and pencils. At the price is an incredible it for anyone starting to dabble in paint.

I bought this easel so I could move from place to place easily, and store my materials. It is a lovely size, with adjustable height, and great for taking outdoors. Great value, and I would recommend this to any artist.

Sturdy easel.
Well made sturdy easel, first purchase of one, bought it for paint by numbers, storage space could do with more partitions as paint tubs tumble about when lifted, made some of my own so now ok. Happy with it so far.

Great bit of kit!
I’m really glad I bought this. Obviously it does it’s job in carrying capacity but it also feels really nice to use - solid & well made and has excellent rubber feet so doesn’t scratch any surface you stand it on.

Couldn’t ask for more, does what is says.
Bought as a gift for my sister who struggles to find space for crafting/painting. Now she can just pop this on any table and the compartments inside are handy for small bits and bobs for your current project.

A must for budding artists
This easel is amazing. I bought it for my paint by numbers and it is fantastic. Quality made but lightweight. Sits anywhere for you to use and paints, brushes and water pot all fit inside.

Great easel.
