great quality, really good for art students or someone who’s regularly doing art who will very often need sketchbooks , worth the money, holds a a lot of work pages do not fall out, pages hold the water great for painting and ink
I’ve been an art student for many years and everytime I get a sketchbook this is definitely the one I go for every time!!!

Great quality sketchbooks
Seabrights offer a range of very good quality sketchbooks, with a heavy weight cover to protect the work and good quality paper. This was ideal for the 3 students that I purchased them for recently and they are enjoying working with them. The price however, is a little stepp for the average GCSE student and it would be great if a slightly cheaper version (maybe with fewer pages) were available.

Excellent quality, spiral bound book.
This spiral bound A3 pad is Ideal to share work with pupils. I am a Music teacher & due to Covid- I now have to move around classrooms rather than pupils coming to the Music room to limit pupil movement. The A3 book sits well on a sturdy music stand and enables me to share work and carry around to my next room. Lovely, thick paper and the book is light enough to transport around.

Great sketch book
My daughter has just started art and photography in school and was asked to get some A3 books. This has a decent weight paper as it will be for all sorts of mediums. It fits lovely in the portfolio I purchased at the same time. There’s 30 pages in the book which will last a few months and as it was on offer I bought a few. She’s very happy with them so happy mum!

Great value
These sketchbooks are excellent quality with good, strong binding and covers. The cartridge paper pages are lovely and white and enable my daughter to display her college photography work to perfection. This is the only brand we buy and being able to purchase them when on offer with the Hobbycraft membership card made this even better value this time.

Right product at the right price
I have taken up painting and needed a decent sized sketch book which was robust and had good quality paper. This product ticked all those boxes.
The size gives me plenty of room to store ideas and examples of colours as well as develop creative plans.
I’m very pleased with my purchase as the price was competitive with other products.

Bought this for my granddaughter who had a long list of stuff for college. Then she got told it was meant to be A4 not A3. But she is using it for home. Colleges should check before posting what they need, everything is more expensive than before pandemic. We do like hobby craft very much. The staff helped a great deal the day we came in

Excellent product!!
I have already used two of these sketchbooks for my GCSE Art course and now have purchased a third for my College course. They are excellent quality when using any type of paint, charcoal, acrylics and pencil.
Would highly recommend.

All around exactly what you would want
High quality paper of good thickness so you can use both sides without any show through, lots of pages and an ideal size for larger works. Binding is good as the paper doesn't tear and come loose easily, but it means you can remove works you are unhappy with. Seems as though there will me no issues with wet media either.

Perfect
I use it for pencil sketches and portraits. The paper is a good thickness so does not bend or crease easily. The paper is also smooth meaning that when blending, the texture of the paper isn’t very apparent. Furthermore, the front and back cover is very solid and sturdy so there is no risk of the paper inside bending.

I love the quality of this sketch pad. I let my little granddaughter have one to paint with during lockdown and the paints didn't buckle the paper nor bleed through to underside! We have framed one of her paintings and it looks really good! Also was able to purchase at greatly reduced price so thankyou Hobbycraft.

Ideal for A Level Art
This large sketch book is ideal for my son's A' Level Art coursework. It has a sturdy cover, is ring bound and wears well whilst being carried to and from college. Good quality paper with a nice weight- sometimes my son draws straight onto it or he sticks work in. Competitively priced compared with 2 other shops.

I love the cartridge paper inside this product
Not only is the paper easy to work with by blending colours , with acrylic paint or water colour pencils my favourite thing is with some hard back sketch books they don’t have ring binders and this one does so it’s easy to rip pages out .ect.
I always buy this make of sketch books love it !!

Good quality sketch book.
I really love this product as the cover and pages are high quality and durable. It is perfect for scrapbooking, sketching and planning out any ideas with pencil, pen or paint. I would recommend this to any art student as it is the required size for many of the courses and it is not too pricy.

Beautiful Sketch Pad
Seawhite Sketchpads have long been my go to sketchpad. The paper is perfect for all mediums. I tend to work with pencils, graphite and polychromo’s pencils. The mediums glide smoothly on the paper! I would not use another brand of paper/sketchbook as long as seawhite continues to make them!

The sketchbook has good quality pages
The sketchbook has really smooth and thick pages which I really like because when I use markers or other materials to draw my drawings, they usually go through the page on the other side. But I can say that this sketchbook is perfect for my projects I need to do for my course.

Good quality!
I bought this book for my Art and Design course at college. The paper weight is good and is suitable for most media. Due to it being wire bound, it lays flat which is really useful. It also has a hard front and back cover which protects the book as a whole.
Would recommend!

Nothing wrong with it the product, good sketching paper, easy to rip off, also really good with willow charcoal. However, I think it's over priced. As a student paying roughly £15per sketch book is really expensive even with a student card there isn't much of a difference.

Lovely book but spiral wire poor quality
I bought this book for my daughter who is studying art & design.Sadly within a week, the spiral wire holding the book together is failing. It seems its not suitable for the purpose an art & design studnet needs it for. She's added metal book rings to hold it together.

Best overall sketchbook I’ve owned/ used
Affordable, great quality and overall would buy a third time. Paper is just the right thickness able to be drawn on with charcoal, pencil, paint, watercolour and any wet media without bleeding. Another great quality is that the sketchbook has more than enough pages.

Starting a new course at college is tough but I’ve always been an artist and this sketchbook is amazing, seawhite of Brighton is always my go to brand for quality cartridge paper and a selection of sizes and colour. Get your ideas out on this beautiful A3 sketchbook

Ideal for sketching
This is the perfect sketchbook as it is hard back so you can lean on it when drawing. The paper is a really good quality and it is ring bounded so you can add things in and you can still close it. I love this sketchbook and wouldn’t use any other.

Great product - robust & high quality
Fantastic paper for sketching - sketching only, doubt itd take watercolours or oils, poss acrylics.
I used for charcoal & paper holds it where applied with pressure but not elsewhere so minimal accidental smears/smudges far from your hand.

A really useful sketchbook- light and flexible, yet with a good surface to the paper!

This is a great product with great features.
The sketchbook is a great size, the paper is strong and good for any material usage. There is a lot of paper included making it handy for a years worth of work. In addition the cover is strong and defends the work from damage.

Great quality product, the ring binder design is great, east to use and the hard back design protects the corners of the pages.
Really pleased with this product, it's well designed for working at a desk, on your lap or on the go outside.The ring binder feature makes for a neat, easy to use pad when in use and protects the pages when not in use.
