good quality wool
good quality wool, excellent value having the buy two get one free offer. The wool is lovely and soft as you would expect being a baby wool. I needed two ply for the particular pattern but found you only stock three ply which fortunately was suitable also for the baby shawl I was knitting. If there was a drawback the wool occasionally split whilst knitting. Overall I was pleased with the product.

Soft but has clumps
I usually buy a cheaper yarn but wanted the item I purchased the yarn for to be special, it does knit up nicely and is soft BUT every now and then there is a clump of yarn, I can pull it off but if you miss one and its then in the knitting, you cant pull it and it doesn't look very nice.

Beautiful for premature baby items
This is excellent for premature baby items Those tiny, tiny clothing articles that extra softness for such tender skin requires. 3ply takes longer to knit up, however the results are excellent. Lacy patterns look superb and though you pay a little more it does seems to go further.

Nice wool but wouldn't buy again
If you went wrong you couldn't undo as the wool splits terrible
Got nearly to the end when it all went wrong
So as I could not pull it down into the bin it went.What a waste never mind will not make the same mistake twice. Not hobbycrsfts fault just mine

Lovely wool to work with
I have recently made 5 baby blankets using snuggly 3 ply wool. It is easy to work with, has very few flaws and knits up beautifully. The finished product feels so soft and comforting. My baby grandson has not used any other product in his whole life!

Lovely, soft and cuddly
Knitting a layette for a new baby and this wool knits up so nice. My shawl is looking gorgeous usually knit with DK but definitely going forward will use Sirdar 3 ply for the babies. The wool is such nice quality doesn't split when knitting .

Where to find a good product
I found it very hard to find 3ply wool when I walked into Hobbycraft and found such an amazing product I will always try Hobbycraft in the future as I checked out the other wool and found such great products and wonderful patterns

Nice shawl yarn.
Emergency yarn purchase to replace wool used to knit a large wedding shawl when I suddenly ran out of wool mid row. This yarn was a big relief as it blended perfectly and was very soft for acrylic. It washed and blocked well too.

Good wool
I use Sirdar wool a lot because I like the quality, it's smooth to use whilst knitting or crocheting. This wool is a cool white. Star knocked off because, as usual, I've found a join in the wool.

Fine wool with no knots. Easy to knit with.
This fine knitting yarn has all the best qualities needed in wool required to fashion a baby garment. Not only was it a joy to handle but the result is breathtakingly beautiful.

Lovely soft baby yarn
I have crocheted a baby matinee jacket pattern that I have had for over 40 years. The 3 ply yarn is difficult to get but Hobbycraft stock it. lovely soft baby yarn and washable.

This yarn is soft and easy to knit with, however it does 'snag' a little with crochet. Well worth persisting with,though, as beautiful items were made.
