Spinning wool holder
Was excited to find this item at Hobbycraft but disappointed when I tried to use it. It was too short and unstable for a 100gm ball of wool. Reluctantly had to return it.

Does what I need it to.
This item does what I need however it takes some time to get use to it to make it work well.
I think with a heavier base to make it more sturdy it be perfect.
I still use it daily and it’s still great and I recommend as it was great price and it works, but that one aspect could improve it to perfect.

Did not work for chunky wool
Bought this to stop ball from rolling away, but the wool never spun and just got stuck. This would probably be good for a smaller ball or thinner wool. My ball was 100gms and chunky, just kept falling over. It did spin and work when I had used half the ball, but by that time it’s not worth it.

Brilliant gadget
A brilliant gadget, I wish I had bought one years ago. Simple to use and easy to store. Keeps the yarn clean while you are knitting and you can easily change over the yarn between projects. Only one minor quibble the yarn can get caught at the bottom when starting a new ball.

Keeps wool in place
Not as good as I’d hoped. Saw someone using it at knit and natter group and it seemed to work well. I think perhaps it’s the style of the ball of wool I’m using. It at least keeps my wool in place and not rolling around in the floor!

Womens institute dk yarn
I have used this yarn for over 2 years now, it really crochets up lovely with good choice of colours
And feels soft washes well I would recommend this yarn as it's good quality and good price. I've purchased online and in store.

Absolutely brilliant
I looked at this for a while and thought 'Do I really need this?" This is the best thing ever. No more tangling, can have it on a little side table, no more grabbing my yarn if the dog jumps up. I simply love it.

A good yarn holder that can be improved
This yarn holder is very useful, compact, so ideal for travel. However, I think it either needs to be a little wider and definitely taller to accommodate most balls of yarn, or available also in a larger size.

Dont bother with this one
I had to return this item. It wasnt well made, and came apart. Also didnt do what it was supposed to. The wool tangled round the base and it was so light it constantly fell over.

Fabulous item. I can now enjoy crochet again
Fabulous product. I have MS and this makes crochet a step more accessible so thank you. However, yarn slips easily under the top attachment, this is m6 only issue x

Disappointing
