Watercolour Paper Pad A3 10 Sheets

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality at an affordable price. Bought this in half price art sale for my daughter who’s just started taking a real interest in drawing and painting with watercolour. Great quality paper at a great price, even if paying full price. I also like that it’s not loads of pages, so if my daughter changes her mind we’ve not wasted loads of money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality This pad is good value and great quality. Only downside is the spiral binding meaning when you remove a page you have those bits at the edge but you can easily cut these off to make a straight edge. Paper is really nice to draw and paint on and doesn't bend or crinkle when painted.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Practice range Low cost tempted me to try this range but for finished work its not the best. Paint stains the range instantly so impossible to do any lifting off and if you try the surface starts to come away. Having said that for some work if you have a steady hand it may be ok.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from This paper was of inferior qualify for bleeding when working with water colors I found this paper not very helpful for bleeding my colours when working with water colors - that may be down to my inexperience - however I have found higher quality pair more effective. I tried this paper as it was cheaper - bit it was disappointing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent value This is very good quality at a very reasonable price. A3 size means that you can produce large paintings or cut it down for smaller. I was so pleased that I went back today to buy another but the shop had sold out. I will buy again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing, especially for the price Over all I love this watercolour pad! Doesn't come with a lot of pages but personally I just fold/ cut them in half and use them as a near enough a4 page. Deal great with watercolour and a lot of water too (as you'd hope)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Reasonable for the price. This is a nice paper but only one problem. Not perfect for watercolour, as when you want to remove paint the paper breaks up a bit. I am sure it will be fine for acrylic and gouache which is what I will use it for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality for a Hobbycraft own product I usually buy Winsor & Newton Watercolour paper due to the quality I'm accustomed to. I stepped away from that this time and found this paper just as, if not more effective! Will definitely be buying again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the money The paper is great and holds a good amount of water. It’s definitely worth getting the A3 as it’s only £2 more than the A4. I always pick this paper as it’s reliable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent quality paper A superb quality of paper that can be soaked and stretched or used directly from the pad due to its weight stability. Takes colour well and retains great opacity.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quite happy with product Good quality paper for someone starting out so mistakes are not to costly, suggest it would be good if sheets were perforated so paintings can be removed easier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed for new art class As I am a beginner, I didn't want to spend a huge amount. My teacher suggested a more expensive make but was quite happy with what I brought to class

Rated 4 out of 5 by from very pleased good quality and value for the money though 10 sheets per pad rather than the usual 12 should be noted. On the whole would come and buy this again.
