Premium acrylic yarn
I had a problem knitting to the correct tension with my current lot. Did a tension square and had to use a 3.5mm needle to achieve the correct size.

This yarn is great

Nice colours but places in yarn not great
I have had quite a few WI dk yarn skeins, and this particular one had a few areas in the yarn where it was not twisted at all and the quality wasn't great. At the end of the 'bad' bit of yarn would be a know so I'm assuming it was the end of one tied to a new beginning, but happened a few times within the same skein. I have had the same with the cream one before. Other than that nice colours available and nice to work with.

So good amazing
First purchase of yarn from hobby craft and I definitely want to buy some more. Totally worth the money. Been making great things with it and loving the brand so much. It’s smooth and very easy to use. Love the colour and very good to work with in general. Thick and strong. The best pricing ever and so affordable I could not complain at all. Rougher than it used to be.
I'm really disappointed in this yarn. It is rough and not soft at all. I crochet toys for a children's charity and to be honest I'm not sure I would want want to with this particular yarn, it is as bad as Aldi yarn. I bought 6 balls £10 and to me it is now a waste of money. I will stick with Home Bargain yarn in future. I would have thought better from a brand which uses the Women's Institute name.

Lovely quality beautiful colour
Love women’s institute yarn is so easy to knit with and excellent quality and washes really well. On 3 4 2 so amazing value. My daughter picked the beautiful blue colour trending shade apparently!!! For mr to knit a tank top for spring. Click n collect was fabulous... ready in an hour !!! Can’t wait to get back into store though for a root round. Thanks hobby craft

Soft, affordable yarn.
Knits up beautifully, lovely to work with, soft and non splitty. A good choice of colours. Check your batch numbers as it does vary in shade by batch. One issue I have is a small section (3 inches) of one ball has been spun unevenly with white yarn included, an easy fix but annoying. Hasn't been washed yet but I have high hopes of a good result.

Lovely and soft
This yarn is lovely and soft and great for the price. I've actually fell in love with WI yarn recently as it feels nice on the skin. The only downfall on it this particular one is that it feels a little "stringy" so can snag on a hook or needle now and again, like most can but this one more so.

Lovely yarn to work with!
Started a granny square crocheted blanket for my 6 year old nephew. I've purchased several different colours, they are gorgeous and vibrant shades. The yarn is lovely and soft and is a pleasure to crochet with.
My sister has seen what I've done so far, she is now wanting one for herself! :)

lovely soft wool
so soft and easy to knit with and warm making lots of scarfs this year because of the cold weather and this wool is just brilliant for it because it is bright warm and soft and that's all you can get with this and 3p go to charity which Is even better. good 3 for 2 sale thanks hobby craft.

Lovely colour and silky texture
This wool is really nice to knit with. If knitting with other wool of the same brand/type be aware that it feels thinner - I’m doing double DK on a project in stripes and the lilac (same brand) is thicker and fuller. It is good quality and the ball didn’t have any joins.

Fantastic range wool colours and great quality
I always purchase this wool as it offers a lovely range of colours. It works up well and the quality is consistently good. In addition to that it supports the womens institute with a minimum of 3p from the item given to national federation of women's institute.

I love this yarn, it’s my go-to brand and I have used many different colours. Nice and soft for baby projects and washable too!
Only negative it that it occasionally has some faults, so need to tie off, cut yarn bit out and re-attach to continue the project.

This product is great quality and very easy to handle. I used this with the yellow and white acrylic yarn and 4 and a half mm needles to make little Leeds United scarves for my sisters toys for her birthday! She loved them and they looked amazing!

Soft and thick
A yarn that feels good to use. I didn't experience any splitting whilst crocheting. The yarn is a good thickness, the thickness I would expect from a DK yarn, unlike many yarns at the price. I would recommend this as good quality at a good price.

A neighbour asked me to knit him some golf club covers...specific colour of blue with white pom poms...his wifes making them...simple free pattern on internet...nearly done...great wool ...washes brilliantly too...and with all that mud....ha ha

Good quality yarn
I really like working with this wool. The colour is vibrant, the wool is soft and it doesn’t split while you are working with it. I’m currently using this colour along with white and yellow to make a Leeds united theme blanket for my nephew!

Different shades
I purchased 3 balls of this wool and checked the shade no, colour, and lot no were the same. However on crocheting squares for a blanket I have found 2 different shades. Also the wool appears to be thicker than the white of the same brand

Great but....
The blue is a beautiful colour once knitted and looks good. The only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is yet again with this particular brand of wool there are joining knots in the ball. 2 balls used 9 joining knots. Frustrating.

I love this brand and product

Great blue yarn
The blue women’s institute double knit yarn is really good to handle and crochets up well. I love the range of colours available in this yarn. As it is 100% acrylic it washes well at a low temperature and drys really quickly.

Good for my needs
Bought this to make poppies for our local church’s armistice display in November - this was to make some blue poppies/cornflower to revognise the French efforts too. It is easy to knit with and all I needed for this purpose.
