This is a brilliant colour to knit with and reasonably priced.
This is the first time I have used this wool and it is lovely to knit with, especially as I am using this for a knitting pattern that I have had for at least 40 years. Obviously it is different to the recommended yarn for the pattern but is knitting to the correct tension and looks brilliant. Will definitely use this yarn again as I find it brilliant.

I purchased three balls of double knitting yarn with it being on a three for two offer, on a visit to a different wool shop i purchased a ball of yarn from a different make and when i got home i noticed that the Womans Institute yarn was by far superior to other brands both in softness and quality, i will certainly buy this yarn again

very fast delivery ,didn't take more than 3 days from ordering.love the click and collect feature.
Wool was exactly the same colour as advertised. it is not in every case when I have made a mistake buying elsewhere. I will never do that again.

Lovely feel to the yarn and pretty colour.
I purchased 3 balls of this yarn to make a jumper for my little granddaughter. The jumper has 6 sheep on the bottom of the jumper front and a honeycomb pattern instead of a ribbed welt on the front and back.
The 3 for the price of 2 offer was a good incentive to buy.

Lovely colour, good quality
As always, I am very pleased with this brand. It’s the cheapest DK I can find locally with the 3 for 2 offer and the quality is generally very good for what I use it for (crochet). The colour is absolutely lovely too. Very happy with this purchase!

This wool is brilliant for many knitting projects!
This wool never lets me down!! I knit and crochet baby clothes, hats,blankets etc for charity and each item always looks lovely using the lovely colours. I use a lot of white when I use up all the small balls left to crochet colourful squares.

Very good value
I bought this yarn in a total of 7 colours + white for a baby cot blanket with coloured motifs knitted in. The yarn is lovely and soft , doesn’t ‘split’ on the more complex stitches. So far the project looks wonderful

Easy to use and has no knots or joins.
The colour was just what I was looking for and would use it again.
Washes well and keeps its colour. It didn't stretch or shrink in the wash. Good quality yarn.

Fantastic colour and very soft
Really good for a shawl or a thin scarf, easy on sensitive skin, too.
It doesn’t fray easily and its a very nice colour, like the rest of the range at Hobbycraft.

Great wool for both quality and price
Really good quality for the price! In love with the colour, used it to make a bucket hat, was a decent thickness for it and felt soft compared to other similar wools that seem a little rough.

A lovely yarn!
