This is a beautiful soft wool to work with
I have used this wool to make jumpers and cardigans for my grandaughter. It is very soft, washes well and is easy to work with. It is also good value for money and has many lovely colours and thicknesses to choose from.

lovely wool
I love all the women's institute wool, it knits and crochets well. I do wish that they did more colour variety in the soft and snuggly range such as green, as you can only get green in soft and silky or 100% acrylic.

Lovely soft wool
This WI wool is lovely. It's a great multipurpose wool and is so soft. I love it for little baby blankets or full size and the finished items aren't heavy either. Great range of colours too.

Soft and cuddly
It says soft and cuddly on the label and it really is. Using it to make amigurumi toys with a 3mm crochet hook and it is lovely to work with. I thought ir a reasonable price for the quality.

Lovely & Soft
Good value for money on the 3 for 2 offer. I have used quite a lot of the WI yarns and although I love the feel and the way it knits up, there does seem to be the odd knot here and there.

Fabulous
I absolutely love working with this yarn. I’m a slow knitter and not an expert but even my efforts look good. I will definitely buy again( once I finish this lol).

High quality wool
I love this wool brand. You can really feel the quality as soon as you touch it. The colour is a perfect and clean cream that isn't available in most other brands.

First ever disappointment.
For the first time I will not write a glowing report. In spite of carefully checking all numbers, one of the balls was marginally different in shade and silliness.

Good value
Nice wool. I was a bit disappointed though as there were several ‘joins’ in the wool which is difficult to work into the pattern .. good range of colours though

Easy to knit with
This yarn is easy to knit with, but I find it a bit hard, compared with other yarns I've used for baby clothes. I think I'd only use it for older kids' things.

Knitted up really nicely
Never used this WI yarn before. Knitted easily and exactly to tension. Knitted a cardigan for my granddaughter. Hasn't been washed yet. I would buy again.

Perfect for baby knits
I have used this yarn in a lot of the colours and it always knits up beautifully and is comfortable for baby to wear. Washes really well. Very pleased.

Not as soft as described
I like the colour and appearance of this yarn. However I don't feel as soft as the name suggests "soft & cuddly" it also splits a lot whilst working.

Lovely to knit with.
This wool is so soft and knits up beautifully to a fabulous-feeling finish. I can see why it comes with a recommendation from the Women’s Institute.

Soft yarn but patchy colour
Soft but the the yarn looks dirty and as I’m using the yarn there’s dark patches which is very frustrating I’ve had to not use so much such a waste

OK
Bought for my first attempt at crochet. Nice and soft, without being too fluffy, but splits quite easily. This may be due to my technique, though.

Knits well with good finish
This wool knits up well although you have to be careful as twist in yarn is quite loose. It gives a great finish and I would recommend this wool.

Lovely wool
Plenty of stock in store and it’s exactly what I needed. The lady at the till even checked whether I’d made sure that the dye lots matched
