Lovely yarn!
I bought several yarns with my Christmas money and love them all. I just wish you had the 400g of white. I only buy from you and have always had great products!!

Soft reliable product
Have bought lots of the WI 400g wool, it is soft and east to work with. Minimal faults (found 1 so far in 3 balls of wool).

Gorgeous Wool
This wool is lovely and a gorgeous colour.
I'm currently crocheting a baby blanket for my sister, so decided to buy a load of wool, to make myself a large blanket when I've finished.
Luckily I bought it all just in time, as the shop closed the very next day!
This should certainly keep me busy for a while, during these scary times.
It's also great to be helping a good cause, as 3p from each sale is given to the National Federation of Women's Institutes.

Great value wool
On some of the balls of this wool it is very hard to find the starting end of the wool. By mistake I choose the wrong end, both wool ends in the middle of the ball of wool, and ended up having to continually untangle the wool as I crocheted. However lovely wool to work with and great value for money. My only gripe is that the starting wool end should be more visible and not in the middle of the ball as in some of balls of wool I bought!!

Fabulous texture to the wool, crochets up brilliantly
I bought this product and two others in the same range to crochet a block blanket. I’ve only crocheted the grey so far in rows of 2x treble, 2x double then repeat. The wool has a great texture to it and has never split while being worked on. The pattern has crocheted up quite tightly even with a 6mm hook and has a nice density to it. I would highly recommend any of the soft and smooth WI Aran wool. I’ll certainly be going back for more!

Lovely quality wook
I am crocheting a granny square bedspread for my niece and this wool is of a good texture and quality + easy to work with. My niece has chosen four colours all from this range from a beautiful teal colour to a soft mustard. Now on my 20th square and joined together with the 'join as you go' method and it does look really nice all joined together in the same wool in white... may take me years to complete!!

Super wool
I love this wool. It's lovely to knit with, the finished garments always look good and are very soft. It washes well on 30° machine wash. My only minor gripe is that I would normally take wool from the centre but I've never been successful in pulling out the end, always comes out in a clump which takes a while to unravel...after a couple of attempts have given up and just knit from beginning!

WI Aran Supersoft
Yarn is lovely and soft and knitting up nicely, BUT the strands separate very easily so need watch where the needle goes. Not long started a project and noticed there are parts of the yarn which didn't take the dye so will have to cut these bits out and rejoin. Also lots of fibres fluffing and balling. Overall not too impressed atm.

Excellent
I am really enjoying knitting with this yarn. The yarn is of a very good quality and the pattern that I am using to knit my son’s sweater is coming out clearly and is a lovely warm thickness. It looks incredible and is very soft. I am looking forward to using the mustard and white colours for my next project.

Perfect for winter makes!
I love this yarn for making winter accessories such as crocheted winter hats, scarves and cowls. Lovely colour and easy to work with, the only pointer is that it shows up pulls quite easily so need to be careful not to misplace your hook while working as it will show - strands could be tighter,

W.I. Yarn
This yarn is beautifully soft and lovely to work with, be it knitting or crochet, but a word of warning! Make sure you order enough, or more than you might need, (and you must specify all the same dye lot) because unfortunately, Hobbycraft customer service aftercare isn’t particularly helpful.

Gorgeous yarn
This aran weight yarn is really lovely. It is very soft and cuddly, and has a bit of a sheen to it. It crochets up beautifully and is good to work with. Very good value, especially when on 3 for 2! Have bought most of the colours...I would definitely recommend it.

The best 400g aran by far
This was not my first purchase of this and will not be my last.
As a crocheter this flows and is an absolute pleasure to use.
Have made a few blankets now.
When made up this yarn feels devine and looks wonderful with defined stitches.
Washes well too.

Women's Institute 400g Yarn cream
I am an experienced knitter and this wool is one of the best I've used over the years. I buy it all the time. It's beautiful to knit with and I have just bought 3 400g of the cream and 2 other colours of the same 3 400g. Well worth the money and good value.

Soft feel for Arran wool.
Knitted up nicely. Handy 400 gram balls allow for garment having no joins in several places. A donation from purchase to the National Federation of Women's Institutes ensures continuation of WI skills. Good value. Will use this brand again

Excellent
Why oh why has it taken me so long to discover this yarn? It's soft, it doesn't split when crocheting, there are no fibres flying about. I can only hope that it wears and washes well because I can see this becoming my 'go to' yarn.

Nice texture and feels soft
I have purchased this wool to crochet a blanket for a friend. Love the colours available and the quality of the yarn.
Also good value for money with the 3 for 2 offer.
Unlike other aran yarns there is a good choice of colours.

very soft and works up nicely :)
currently using to crochet a chunky sweater and its very soft and is working up good! 400g size is great because i wont have many ends to weave in. Ran into a few knots but theyve been easy to sort out. Will be my go to aran :)

Super soft
This yarn knits well and is super soft, unlike many arans. So satisfied, I have purchased this yarn in many colours before and all have the same result. Additionally, the garments wash well and stay in shape. Super product.

good yarn
I used this to substitute a different branded Aran yarn and it worked out perfectly. The yarn was easy to crochet with and a really nice colour. It got a bit tangled towards the end of the ball but I just re-wound it.

WI Aran Yarn
Fine for beginners as doesn’t split easy but has quite a few blemishes and imperfections I’m having to work around. It’s not ruining my jumper but I probably will look for something better quality for my next project.
