Disabled friendly
My first trip to Leicester hobby craft being disabled and using a electric scooter I was immediately approached by a member of staff to let me know if I needed any help whatsoever I was just to say and they would shop along with me to help and help at the checkout
What a wonderful change to have such excellent help I always buy women’s institute wool as I’m a active member of the women’s institute but overall a fantastic shopping experience and such helpful staff to a disabled lady thank you hobbycraft

Disappointed
Really disappointed in this yarn. I bought 4 balls of white and each ball not only had a lot of joins but the yarn kept going thin and thick as I was crocheting with it. I ending up cutting lots out so the baby blanket I was making would even in thickness

When is D K yarn not D K?
Impossible to use as D K weight as it is far thicker than all the colours and gives quite the wrong tension and thus the garment knits up far too wide. I shall be returning the two balls I bought.

The only wool for me!
I try to only ever use women's institute wool, it feels so soft, the colours are beautiful and it's fairly priced. My craft corner is full of this wool and I really do believe it's the best
