Not worth the money
I bought this kit in Aberdeen on 10th June. When my granddaughter opened the inner envelope with all the contents was already torn open! On closer examination, the outer packaging had some tape on it. We checked the contents and it appeared to all be there.
However, this is definitely not a beginners kit. The clamp beads didn't clamp! The best bit is probably the book but it showed lots of things you didn't have the bits to make!
Looking more closely at the packaging, it suggests that this was a returned item that had been put for resale.
Not up to your usual standards. Dissapointingly I will be reviewing my future purchases at hobbycraft.
Overall very very disappointing

Pathetic and Over Priced
My daughter was excited to buy this kit but disappointed to find an extremely tiny selection of beads and thread, which would have cost pennies to put together. The huge box was very deceptive. If we had seen the contents I would never have paid £10 - perhaps £5 on the basis there is a book included. The wax string which instructions require to be 120cm actually measures 117. Really shonky. Absolutely not recommended.

Big disappointment
What a disappointment 😢 purchased the Bracelets kit for Grandaughter to use while away in caravan, I Think the box must have cost more than the contents! We will always make sure to read reviews in future before buying anything that comes in a box from the Hobbycraft shop in future. One disappointed Grandaughter 😢

Not for complete beginners
Bought this a few days ago to learn some more crafts with the family. You get a nice selection of beads etc to make 4 bracelets. In the book it also says you need scissors, ruler, measuring tape, glue, craft knife, tape and bulldog clips, bracelet wheel and pliers (flat nose, round nose and wire cutters) For a complete beginner the instructions could be clearer especially the knots as we had to go online to see where we were going wrong as ours didn't look like the book. We gave up with the fidget bracelet due to this. We then tried the cylinder beads bracelet which was better until the last instruction 'Add a jump ring to the middle and end of the chain' on trying to get the ring through the middle of the chain, the chain broke so all the work up to that point a waste of time as no spare chain.
For the money the bits you do get are worth it, even if it's just as a trial before getting better quality bits. It's the instructions for a complete novice that let it down, I guess others with prior knowledge would fly through this set.
