Great, easy to use dye.
Purchased to refresh a faded black shirt. I was a bit reluctant to purchase a machine dye but a cold water version to use in a bucket wasn’t available in black. I dyed the shirt along with a pair of jeans (to get my moneys worth!). I washed the items on a quick wash without soap powder to make sure they were damp. Then I added the dye- really simple, the container goes in on top of the garments after removing the sticker/lid. No mess at all. When the cycle finished I ran another wash cycle with soap powder and the garments. Both items turned out well. My washing machine only needed a quick wipe out on the door seal. To be sure no dye was left I washed some old towels in the next load. Would recommend.

Easy to use, variable results
This product was extremely simple and convenient to use. The only issue I had being the inconsistency of the results. Having put two towels into the machine along with a couple of other items they seemed to soak up most of the dye leaving other items to go a navy/grey colour which wasn’t unpleasant. As it said on the pod, synthetics and synthetic blends did not absorb as much of the dye but interestingly the only colour that stuck was a peachy orange, having expected grey or white. I am still very pleased with the product and will make sure to use less large items next time to see if the results are more consistent.

Brilliant machine dye!
I have used the intense black and navy machine dye from Dylon, on cotton, linen and viscose, for many years. It’s brilliant! No idea why there are 2 negative reviews. I’m guessing the items dyed weren’t 100% cotton, linen or viscose.

Amazing results!
Wow, this is such an improvement on the old dylon machine packs where you needed rubber gloves and lots of salt, now you just pop it into the machine and go. Re-dyed three pairs of black jeans which were more grey than black and they are looking brand new. So much cheaper than buying new jeans!

Clothes Like New
Wow! This dye has completely renewed my faded t-shirts and socks. I've seen this so many times but always dismissed it as being too complicated and not worth it.
How wrong I was. Colour has returned to just like when the items were brand new. For a tiny cost, you can increase the life of your clothes by years.
It's got me looking arounf the house for other things I can dye.
Process is simple. Just put items in the washing machine with the pack and 2 washes later it's all done.
Definite 5 stars for this.

Terrible product!
I bought this yesterday! I was excited to colour a white cotton dress to black. Followed all the instructions, however the advice to wash the dress with detergent straight after colouring is terrible! The dress is now navy blue and it’s patchy. The dress was washed before and was wet when I ran the dye circle.i used a whole pod just for that one dress so no I did not make a mistake! Waist of time and money. It’s all going to the bin.

Amazing
This is an amazing product and saved me alot of money. I had 4 pairs of black Jean's that were in perfect condition but had faded in colour. I used the intense black dylon colour and Inow i have 4 new pairs of Jeans. So easy to use ithe washing machine does all the hard work. I will definitely use this product again.

Great results and so easy to use
This product is great I have had a really poor blue coloured pair of trousers and the colour was weeping out over the furniture and onto my hands where I was using my pockets, but after treating the trousers with the Black dye they have never gone back to the weeping problem and all the transfer of the colour problem has gone away! Absolutely delighted with a great Item and am happy to Highly recommend!
