Effective and easy to use
Successfully saved a faded heavy duty cotton jacket from being replaced by dyeing it back to its original colour. Instructions are really straughtfoward and the process is easy. Though be aware of the limitations: the dye doesn’t work on man made fibres and one pod fully covers 600g of fabric.

Sadly not very good results
I followed the instructions but unfortunately this dye colour does not take well at all, sadly left diffremt shades throughout I dyed 3 times but still left a bad result.
I think this is just the colour as I have used other colours and have had better results.

excellent!
So easy to use..no mess,just throw it all the washingmachine.dyed two pairs of jeans which were very faded and they came up like new.Smallprice to pay with out throwing out clothes to add to landfill

Easy!
This dye is so easy to use! The results are great too! So effective, just put the garment in the wash and the dye packet and an hour later it’s all done! So happy with the results.

Great for jeans
My favourite black jeans had faded over time. I used Dylon Intense Black Dye Pod 350g and thought I'd risk adding a pair of my husband's jeans too.
They both came up looking like new.
I wear mine when working front-of-house at a local theatre. Showed my colleagues and got some very favourable comments. I suspect a few of the gang will be refreshing their black trousers/jeans very soon!

Back to Black!
Used one tub to restore the colour back to 3 pairs of washed out black jeans. It’s worked well, was easy to use and they look like new again.

Can't rate this product high enough

I have never been disappointed with Dylon Washing Machine Dyes, it just couldn't be simpler. It is as it says on the packet, all-in-one, toss in machine and switch on. The colours on cotton are true and if the instructions are followed, no residue left in your washing machine. However, I only use black. The rest of the range of colours, for me, are too solid and they don't lend themselves to be mixed.

Covered paint stains brilliantly
Was sceptical about how well this would work by was desperate to salvage a pair of summer trousers that got fence paint on them.
Followed the clear instructions and ended up with one jet black pair of trousers. They were viscose and cotton mix and it worked a treat.
No mess in washing machine and no problems with dye bleed in subsequent washes either.
One happy customer!

Dylon dye pod Black
Really easy to use ,easy to follow instructions .I chose black because I wanted to over dye some jeans and leggings that were looking faded and old.Put in four pairs and a white cotton tablecloth with lace.At £7.50 I thought it was great as the trousers came out like new and the table cloth is a lovely deep dark grey.I am going to incorporate the fabric and lace into a garment.

Dye not Black
Bought this product to dye two white shirts black
The shirts, both same material, having followed the instructions for use in the washing machine
came out dark grey, and the other a blue /dark grey.
Definitely, the colour is NOT black. !!!!!

Easy To Use
I have used these dyes on many occasions. They are very easy to use and give a good intense colour. My only criticism is that even though they say that they leave no residue in the washing machine I find that dye seems to remain in the door seal for quite a few washes. This can be remedied by making sure you give the machine a good rinse and wipe out when finished.

BLACK DYLON COVERED WELL
I was worried about using the black machine dye in my washer but after rinsing through twice and wiping round the seal thoroughly, there was no residual colour. I used the dye on one pair of stretchy synthetic trousers that had an iron mark on. The result is exceptionally black trousers with a completely even colour. I would definitely use these machine dyes again,

Great product - very reliable
I'm really happy with all the dylon dyes in the series actually, as I've tried a few to date. Dyes a surprising amount of items and doesn't seem to have harmed the washing machine. With this dye I put some whites in directly after for a cycle, including the item I'd just dyed for a second wash and there was no bleed onto the whites whatsoever.

I have used this die a few times in different colours and it had worked every time no mess do What you read on the packet and it gives you back the cloths you thought were going to recycle but now they are back in my wardrobe xx plus I have changed curtains from pink to forest green so I still have quality curtains for a few pounds bargain

Give it a go it works now mess
Love this always get this if want to bring black Jean's back to life. AND it works well. Follow the instructions off you go. Put machine on drum wash after empty no trouble with staining of washing machine after. I put 2 pairs of black Jean's and couple of final I put in 2 pair of jeans and a couple of small bit. Works really well.

Easy to use and great coverage
These pods are fab, such an improvement on the old dyes, all you have to do is open the pod and put it in the washing machine with damp fabric. No time wasted measuring out salt like I used too! The dye provides great coverage too, I dyed my sofa cover and cushion covers with two pods. An excellent product, I would highly recommend!

Great dye, so simple, brilliant results!
This due is so simple and straightforward to use. The colour results I got on my towels was brilliant! I think they under estimate how much fabric the dye will cover because I put in more than the advised weight of material for optimum results and still got a really deep black. Really pleased, no more towels ruined by my hair dye.

Used one of these on 2 pairs of faded black jeans and the result was fantastic. Blacker than when they were new. The colour hasn't come off on my skin, but I haven't washed them yet. Easy to use but did leave black in the machine drum which transferred onto my whites even after 2 other washes. But would use it again.

Good, but not perfect
This is best used for reviving faded natural fabrics, or dyeing already-dark ones to black. Expensive for the maximum weight to be dyed. It works well in the washing machine and does not require much clearing up afterwards. Be aware that many natural fabrics are sewn with polyester thread, which does not dye.

Love it!
Dylon Clothing dyes are the best dyes for materials such as cotton. It is extremely reliable and the colour pay off is always amazing! I also highly enjoy this product as it stains the fabric and does not fade in the washing machine at all! I will continue to purchase this product for other future projects
