Worked really well, made such a mess
I've used Dylon products before, but mostly there greeny colours never black. I was slightly apprehensive as the black dye looks blue when mixed up. I also didn't weigh my item before buying the dye. I was dying a coat that weighed 3x the recommended weight for the package. so please weigh your clothes in order to buy the right amount. I proceeded any ways but reduced the water mix ration down, and as the coat was a faded black I thought what is the worse that could happen. I did it all by hand and then spun it in the washing machine. Left to dry in a spare room. Came out well, very pleased. I'm thinking off giving the washing machine dye ago as that too has been well recommended,

Good quality but not as pigmented as expected
Definitely a good quality dye and the amount of fabric you can colour from one sachet is very much worth the money! I have used this brand many times and have had different outcomes on different fabrics or blends for example I used this particular colour to dye a navy item which was a cotton/polyester blend and it was slightly less pigmented than previous results, so worth researching the fabric type before purchasing. All in all a very good high quality product and comes in a good range of colours with easy to follow instructions.

Colourfast jet black
I use these dyes for tie-dyeing and I get great results. A word of caution with this black; use it immediately after making it up. If you leave it, crystals form in the solution and the dye is not as effective. I wash on a full (not eco or half) cycle after dyeing and I haven't had any trouble with colour leaching thereafter. Mind you, I wouldn't put it in a pale colour wash - just to be on the safe side.

Black die
This product was used to try and die a pair of jeans black. It did take them to a dark blue but not to black. I didn't realise when I bought it that it does say a shade darker. It would probably work better on a shirt than on jeans. Just always remember that you need salt!

Perfect cheap alternative to buying new clothes
A few tops had faded in colour, I dyed several tops & the colour was restored. Easier & less messy than putting the dye in your washing machine (machine dyes ruin your machine as they dye the rubber seal, making it look grubby)

Easy to use
Clear instructions, very easy to use, did a very good job on my faded jeans, they have washed well since too, would use again.

Easy to use
I re-dyed a pair of faded black jeans. They came up a treat, look like new. The colour didn't run when washed, either.
