Fiona Smith - Artisan

Hi, my name’s Fiona and I’m based at Hobbycraft Dundee. My specialty is illustration, with a focus on drawing animate subjects such as people and animals.

I’ve been doodling away on scrap bits of paper since I was a little kid and never really stopped. Pencil and pen are my media of choice, but I dabble with both acrylic and gouache paints as well. Beyond that, I also use digital painting software and a graphics tablet to create artwork entirely digitally, in much the same way I would with a blank sketchbook page and a stack of art supplies.
