Wonky frame
I've brought a few dropboxes from hobbycraft and had no problems with quality but this one was different! The inside square of wood which makes the frame a dropbox was wonky...didn't noticed until putting my fragile picture inside, revealing gaps so not ideal. I had gone to trouble to paint the frame so didn't want to exchange it so tried fixing the inside piece instead by trimming the longer side of the wooden square but that turned out to be a pain and still didn't line up properly. In the end my husband went to B&Q to buy a new piece of wood to cut and stick to create the inside square which finally worked. It was all a massive faff to correct!

Great frame for embroidery
I bought this frame to frame an embroidery that had french knots on which would be crushed in a normal frame. The frame was easy to use, I made a simple card mount so my embroidery fitted the frame.

There's a reason these are reduced.....
There's a reason these are reduced..... mass production with poor quality and untrue corner angles making anything you put in the frame look wonky. Really disappointed and have sourced much better elsewhere for not much more. However, these natural ones are much better than the white which are really awful.

Not white
I would have liked white frames ( which were in the shop) but was told these were not on the off and would be over £8.00. However they were on the offer on the website. It did mean that each frame was painted. A bit disappointing but the frames themselves were good.

I am always using these for different projects and buy loads when on special offer. Easy to use and people always comment on how nice they look. You can buy in different colours which is great.
