Simple and enjoyable wax melt
I love scented candles and wax melts and have often thought of having a go myself. But for a first attempt buying all the different components would have proved costly. This little kit allowed me to have an initial go without having to spend a lot of money, dip my toe in the water. It has everything you need in it (some which you can use more than once), and for £15 it’s excellent value for money. It was an enjoyable experience and easy to follow the instructions. I now have a new hobby and look forward to purchasing additional scents to make more. Next on the list is a scented candle :)

OK for a starter kit
I wanted to learn how to make wax melts so bought this in Hobbycraft. It is ok; it has all the bits you need but I was a bit let down once I used everything up.
I looked on Amazon to get refills so I could make more and also bought the book "The Wax Melt Workbook" by Zoe George which really helped me, plus it has recommendations of where you can buy even more supplies that are considerably cheaper.

Lovely kit
Great little kit for both beginners and experts alike. Easy to follow step by step instructions with everything you need to make beautiful wax melts. The tranquility fragrance oil is my favourite and I've already been out to buy more. This is perfect for me to do in the evenings or just whenever I have an hour spare and need some "me" time. Thank you hobbycraft!

Very useful and great for beginners
This product is very useful and great for anyone wishing to start making their own wax melts. Easy to follow instructions. only down side is that you will need a thermometer to keep an eye on the temperature of the wax when melting but it is not included in the kit despite it saying it has everything you need to make wax melts at home, but other than that it is great.

Worthwhile purchase
Really nice starter kit for anyone who would like to make their own melts. Comes with everything you need except thermometer. Really enjoyed using it. Would like to have the option of type of wax included as it contains paraffin wax and I use soy for all my other wax projects.
